บท 57: The Return 1
Xiao Lingxi's black hair slowly turned blonde, she was no longer simply Xiao Lingxi from the lower realm. She is the heavens taken form. With eyes closed, she sat up under everyone's gaze and went on to slowly open her eyes, revealing beautiful golden eyes. It was like they were made out of the purest of gold, they had the pattern of an exploding sun, reflecting the birth of the world she had created long ago.
"So, Xiao Lingxi or the Ancestral God?" Luan Xing asked with zero respect, why should she respect the heavens? She could slap it, and she shall be forgiven. Why? Because she was beautiful.
"... Both. Mostly Xiao Lingxi," Xiao Lingxi said with a loving gaze while looking at Luan Xing. This wasn't because she was in love with her, but it was the gaze a mother would look upon their daughter with.
As of this moment, she was pretty much all-knowing. But she chose not to as her mind couldn't hold all of that knowledge. She could also channel the might of the heavens, it was just that her current body wouldn't stand such power.
"So, I'm curious, what's up with Wu Xian?" Helian Xun entered the room. Although this room was sealed off from the outside world, currently, every expert across the immortal realm was in chaos as everyone could somewhat feel the strange reactions of the heavens.
"Wu Xian? I honestly don't know. Even before he reincarnated, something about him was... off. It was almost like the rules that I had put up didn't affect him as much. I know the heavens didn't birth him like that, he is a walking paradox. A glitch that broke the system." Xiao Lingxi said getting all of the knowledge she could handle on me, and even then it shocked her.
"Another one of hubby women." Luan Xing said with a smile while sizing up Helian Xun, Helian Xun at first was enraged that someone dared to say she was my woman, that rage only grew with the word, 'Another'... but it all disappeared as she saw Luan Xing smile.
"Such a hot temper. looks like you're rejecting the fact you love him... so tell me, what are your true feelings on my Hubby." Luan Xing asked,
"I-I..." Helian Xun didn't know what to say, she was flustered, but with a bright red face, she slowly spoke.
"I don't know. He was the first person I ever considered marrying, but it wasn't out of love. But when he rejected me, it only made me want to prove him wrong even more... but at some point, I guess I stopped trying to prove him wrong and chose to stay by his side as an elder within Limitless." She said stunned by the words coming out of her mouth.
"Oh? So, do you love him?" Luan Xing asked, to which Helian Xun had to go quiet for a good amount of time, before speaking.
"I think so, but at the same time, I hate him. I sometimes draw his picture on pillows just to beat it up... but sometimes, I can't help but just look at the picture lost. He makes me have conflicting feelings, to kill, or to be by his side... he is so annoying." She said, tears slowly falling from her eyes, which shocked her. Why was she crying?
"You had these feelings held in for so long... but you know why Hubby treated you like that?" She asked with a soft voice as she hugged Helian Xun, who couldn't help but hug her back, and hearing her words, she nodded lightly.
"I can only bring out my full potential by hating him, so he becomes an extra dick to me." She said, to which Helian Xun nodded lightly.
"But there is a simple way to defeat him... turn that hatred into love. Show him that his way was wrong. Love is greater than any hatred, your hatred comes and goes. but even within all that hatred, did your love not remain?" She asked, stunning Helian Xun, while Mo Qingcheng frowned.
'With how powerful her hatred is, what would happen if her heart is broken? Is it wise to have such a mad woman be with someone as punchable as Wu Xian? That guy just enjoys chaos.' Mo Qingcheng thought, picturing the sight of a heartbroken Helian Xun going crazy and swallowed with rage and hatred.
"You would never bring out your full potential to slaughter things if your heart isn't united on one goal. You love Wu Xian, so slaughter everything that gets in the way of your love." Luan Xing said with a gentle smile, not realizing that she was creating a yandere...
God Mountain, was the mountain of the gods. It was the heart of the Ancestral God, and it was from it, that the gods, primordial, and devils were born.
The blood had turned into the primordial, the good within the heart turned into the gods, while the bad turned into the devils. Of course, the gods were not created out of 100% good, bits of the bad were infused into their beings, and the same was for the devil.
So, thats how these beings came to life. It was also because of this mountain that the primordial and gods could never truly die. So long as this mountain stood, these beings shall always reform from the mountain given enough time for them to recover.
But there were a few ways to stop this, attacks that could cut the karma or fate between them and the heavens were key. But not just any attacks that target the Karma or fate would do.
If the fate other lifeforms held to this world were spider threads, the connection the gods held with this world was like a self-recovering unbreakable rope trillions of times wider than spider thread. So, if you could even damage that fate, they can just recover. Some gods were selfish enough to just kill themselves to avoid dying.
Back then, the heaven in which God Mountain took root was called the 99th heaven, the greatest out of all of the heavens. But when the war began and the humans won, this heaven was sealed away, along with God Mountain,
If I had traveled around the immortal realm, then I would have found traces of the gods slowly awakening. In some parts of the immortal realm and even lower realm, one would find people praying to the gods, and churches being built. This was all done thanks to the actions of the gods.
Luan Xing's coming to this heaven was the first sign that the seal that held the gods was weakening. But if one person can come down here, a trillion of others could come as well. The more they came, the more that seal weakened, so the gods began searching for those poor souls, and playing the role of gods, while devils were spreading chaos... but they had to do all of this in secret.
Now, with the reincarnation of the Ancestral gods, the gods had taken another step forward to reappear in this world. That seal that held them was weakening, and all over the 99 heavens, everyone could feel it. The gods were awakening, hell, they would have shot out right away. But they didn't. They were instead getting ready for an all-out war to retake what was rightfully theirs.
But the mountain of the gods didn't simply belong just to the gods. The devils and primordial would also come from there.
In 99th heaven, a young man wearing white robes looked towards the former 99th heaven with a faint frown. He looked around, his eyes easily seeing what every heaven was doing. They were all getting ready to set off toward that sealed-away realm.
"Lan Yun, it's time." He said softly. Years ago, he had been within that heaven, but he left and came to the higher heavens. He had run into many followers of devils and gods and killed many of them. It pushed him to quickly try and gain power to fight the gods when they returned, now he was ready.
Behind him, a beautiful woman with angel wings made her appearance. This was Lan Yun, a member of the Winged Humans. He had summoned her using his system...
"... something fun is happening outside." Within 0D, I was currently lying backward, playing with a blindfold... yes, I could now move. As for where the blindfold came from, this was pretty much my mind space, so I could create such a thing.... oh, I had mastered my senses to such a level, that I needed a blindfold even for my mind eyes, which I opened.
"So much fun is about to happen, yet I'm going to miss it? I don't want this to be some hero showing up at the last moment to save the day when the guy is already weakened." I said with a smile. After bringing out 100% of my comprehension capability, let's say understanding things was easy. A dream here and there, and I comprehended everything I needed... and even improved the Cultivation art Yun Yun created.
I was too prideful to take handouts, I will do my own thing. At this moment, I saw myself as within an Egg. So, I was Aleph 0. But once I broke out of this egg and went through a rebirth, I would be Aleph 1 even before I started cultivation. This was better than the old cultivation art that Yun Yun created, it needed me to be at Houtian to be at Aleph 1.
By the way, Aleph Null equals the 0D. I was Infinity, and currently, I am at Aleph Null. I just needed to start training and make my Aleph Null as huge and powerful as it could be, before I break this egg and be born...
What I was pretty much doing was trying to make 1 greater than 10. Impossible right? Let's take a step backward and look at this in another way. Quality vs Quantity. Now, what I was doing didn't seem crazy right?
If you have 1 average man go up against 10 newborns, who would win? The newborn outnumbered that 1 man, so they would win right? Shockingly no, because newborns are helpless and weak.
You might say I'm talking about a smaller infinity overtaking a greater infinity, it's different from 1 average man fighting 10 newborns, so that example doesn't count. And to that, I would say... well, it made sense to me. But I understand I'm so amazing, so I will dumb down a little.
If the gap between 1 and 2 is infinite, how is it that 1+1 equals 2? How come 2 lesser infinities can come together to equal a greater infinity? There was an infinite amount of numbers between 1 and 2. Hell, you can put an Aleph 1000 zeros between them, and so on. That gap was so huge, yet 1 plus 1 equals 2.
Think of Aleph Null as a drop of water. 1 drop of water + another drop of water doesn't equal 2 drops of water, they come together to form 1 bigger drop of water. Aleph Null shall be that drop of water, it would grow to be bigger than other infinities until I reached my limit, at which point I will bring out 100% of Aleph Null, before moving on... this was my cultivation art.
I threw away everything else, from having the best durability, or even the power to use other techniques but the Limitless. To bring out 100% of the Limtiless, I sacrificed everything. Once I left this world, the only technique I would be able to do was the Limitless... this means, no more Limitless Healing, Limitless Martial arts, and so on. I'm just limited to the improved Limitless and I promise you, it's so broken now that I feared I went too far.
Just remember the part above where I said there was an infinite level of Infinity between just 1 and 2...
