11. Raid
Logan and Sam moved silently through the darkness of the night. With weapons in hand and eyes alert, they scouted around the old warehouse. According to the information Tony provided, Jason "The Snake," the leader of the Silver Serpents gang, and his men were hiding out here. Sam and Logan wanted everything to end tonight.
A group of Sam's most trusted men accompanied them. Martin, Jackson, and a few others silently moved forward, neutralizing the gang members standing guard. As Logan and Sam cautiously approached the entrance of the warehouse, Martin's group infiltrated from the rear.
Inside the warehouse, they heard a few men talking. Logan gripped his gun tightly and glanced at Sam. Sam nodded and signaled to Martin. The pair burst in simultaneously. The first few gang members were caught off guard by the unexpected attack and fell back in surprise. Logan, Sam, and their men took down their targets quickly and decisively.
As they advanced through the warehouse, they encountered more resistance. The Silver Serpents members, in a panic, fired back at the sudden ambush. However, Logan, Sam, and their team, being trained and experienced fighters, calculated every move meticulously, taking down their enemies one by one.
After a while, they reached the deepest part of the warehouse. This area was better guarded, with gang members more densely gathered. Logan and Sam took cover behind the walls and continued firing. As bullets ricocheted off metal surfaces, the noise inside the warehouse grew louder.
At that moment, Martin paused and signaled to Logan. "Jason must be here. Let's be careful."
Logan nodded in agreement and continued to move forward silently. As they advanced deeper into the warehouse, they began to hear Jason's voice. The gang leader was frantically giving orders to his men. Logan moved towards the direction of the voice. Turning a corner, they saw Jason and a few of his men.
Logan quickly aimed and fired. Jason's men fell to the ground. As Jason looked around in shock, Logan, Sam, and their men continued to advance towards him. Jason tried to draw his weapon, but Sam swiftly disarmed him and took his gun.
Just then, a gang member emerged from hiding and opened fire. Bullets flew as Martin took a hit to the chest. Martin collapsed in pain. Logan, enraged, fired back, neutralizing the attacker, and immediately rushed to Martin's side.
"Martin, hold on! We'll get you out of here!" Logan said as he checked Martin's wound while Sam continued to cover the area.
Martin, struggling to breathe, locked eyes with Logan. "Get him. I wore a bulletproof vest. Don't worry about me, finish this."
Logan nodded. "I'm not leaving you here, Martin. Sam, help Martin!"
Sam quickly came to Martin's side and helped Logan move him to a safe spot. The two of them dragged Martin to a sheltered corner. Logan turned to Sam with determination. "Stay here and watch over Martin. I'll find Jason and end this."
Sam nodded in agreement. "Be careful, Logan."
Logan took a deep breath, gripped his weapon, and began advancing into the depths of the warehouse. He was determined to find Jason and bring justice.
Reaching the deepest part of the warehouse, Logan saw Jason trying to escape. Logan aimed his gun and shouted, "Stop, Jason! There's no escape!"
Jason paused for a moment and aimed his gun at Logan. However, Logan quickly fired, hitting Jason's hand and disarming him. Jason fell to the ground in pain. Logan cautiously approached and pinned Jason down.
Logan, after pinning Jason to the ground, took a deep breath. However, Jason had no intention of giving up. Despite his injured hand, he quickly stood up and lunged at Logan. Both had lost their weapons, and this fight would be one of sheer strength and agility.
Jason made the first move, delivering a powerful punch to Logan's stomach. Logan staggered back in pain but quickly regained his balance. Before Jason could make another move, Logan hit him hard on the chin. Jason stumbled but quickly recovered and launched a series of fast punches at Logan. Fighting with his left hand due to his injured right hand, Jason was at a disadvantage against Logan.
Logan raised his hands to defend himself, blocking most of Jason's punches. However, Jason found an opportunity and delivered a hard elbow strike to Logan's face. Logan felt the blood from his mouth but this only fueled his anger. He lunged at Jason, knocking him to the ground, and the fight continued on the floor.
The two rolled on the ground, exchanging punches and elbow strikes. Logan tried to pin Jason's arm, but Jason quickly countered, throwing Logan off. When they both stood up, they were both out of breath.
Logan stepped forward and swung a kick at Jason, but Jason deftly dodged it and grabbed Logan's leg, knocking him to the ground. Logan quickly recovered and jumped on top of Jason, pinning him by the throat.
"This ends here, Jason," Logan growled, looking into Jason's eyes. "You've ruined so many lives. Now you'll pay the price."
Jason, despite the pressure on his throat, smiled. "Even if you kill me, nothing will change, Logan Caldwell."
Logan's rage boiled over. He began pummeling Jason with his fists. With each punch, Jason's face became more bloodied. Jason tried to avoid Logan's punches, but Logan's superior strength was overwhelming. Logan continued to throw punch after punch without stopping.
When Logan delivered a final blow to Jason's face, Jason was no longer able to defend himself. Lying on the ground, Jason looked up at Logan with heavy breaths. Logan, breathing heavily, slowly stood up. Jason lay helplessly, bloodied and defeated.
Logan knelt beside Jason, looking into his eyes. "This isn't over. We'll see what happens next," he took Jason's gun and began scanning the surroundings.
At that moment, Sam and the others arrived, having witnessed the end of the fight. Sam looked at Logan. "Is everything okay?"
"Everything's fine. I've crushed the bug. He won't be crawling around anymore." Logan was trying to decide what to do next. Should he kill this man?
Sam aimed his gun at Jason and fired a shot. "You crushed the bug. I killed the bug. Great teamwork."
Logan took a deep breath as he saw Sam fire the shot and tried to steady himself. Jason's bloodied body lay on the ground. Ignoring the blood and chaos, Logan turned to Sam.
"We need to get out of here now," Logan said, looking at Sam. "And let's not forget Martin. He's still in serious condition."
Sam nodded and gave orders to his men. "Jackson, Tony, check the area and get Martin out. The rest of you, gather what you can and leave no trace."
Jackson and Tony quickly went to Martin. Martin was breathing painfully but showed strong willpower to survive. Logan and Sam lifted Martin and carried him outside. The rain was still falling lightly, providing perfect cover for their escape.
Martin was carefully placed in one of the vehicles. Logan and Sam quickly scanned the area to ensure no one was left behind. The others were also working meticulously to leave no traces. Once everything was packed and ready, Logan took one last look inside the warehouse and took a deep breath.
"Alright, everyone into the cars," Logan, looking around. "Let's get out of here."
The men quickly piled into the vehicles. The car carrying Logan and Sam led the way. The other cars followed. The group silently and swiftly left the area around the warehouse.
Sam took out his phone and made a call. "Jackson, take Martin to the hospital." After speaking, Sam began driving in a different direction.
