Saya frowned, remembering the rumors about the clan head's "drunken talk" (yeah, show me someone who believes that!) and made a note to knock her brother on the head for advertising his son like that.

Saya's blood boiled and her hands clenched into fists at the thought of the creep running his claws into her innocent son.
Unfortunately, attempts to hunt down and tear the slut to shreds had failed due to Ryo's over-cautiousness. After several attempts and failures, she abandoned the idea and relied on her son's prudence. The kunoichi didn't want to get grandchildren from someone unknown, nor did she want to have a political nightmare on her head if the mother turned out to be from another clan.
But she was reassured by the small seal on her son's body that Ryuta had once used, so Saya decided not to bring up the subject, though she was somewhat concerned about the early activity in this regard. The only good outcome from this development was that the attempts at seduction were simply ignored.
Apparently, several months of failure had exhausted the patience of the parties concerned and attempts to get Ryo began to be made through the closest person to her - her mother. The sudden invitations and suitors had surprised Saya at first, but timely warnings from a few gossipy clan friends had cleared things up.
In one decisive move, she swept the stack of letters from the table into the trash, and with a smirk, went to get dressed and ready for the start of the workday. Let them try to take a bite they'll choke on, and the not-so-little Ryo still loves and cares for his ka-chan more than anyone else! And now the rare occasions of waking from nightmares, when Ryo was always there to give her the peace and comfort she needed, only confirmed this confidence. It is not for nothing that they say that a mother is the whole world to a child!
