I started reading this book without knowing the previous parts, so I felt a little lost in the multitude of names thrown around here. Therefore, I recommend reading the previous parts of The Cresta Chronicles first, as that was my only problem with the book. It reads well, the characters are interesting and the world presented neatly combines familiar tropes with the Author's originality.
