บท 396: Chapter 394: Earthquake

Fourth Master immediately draped a cloak over his inner garments and wrapped Ye Zao in a large cloak of his own, without a word, he picked her up and rushed out.

"It's safer in the open space by the Master's side, one needn't fear falling rocks there," Getuken was initially bewildered, but he quickly pointed to a spot.

Ye Zao looked over, and indeed, it appeared to be a good location, less likely for rocks to fall from above or to come tumbling down. Others had already headed there.

Just as Fourth Master was about to speak, another tremor shook the ground, more severe than the previous one, causing Fourth Master to lean against a tree, "Don't be afraid."

"Put me down, I can walk," Ye Zao said, though she was without shoes…

"Don't be afraid, I won't leave you behind, be good," Fourth Master assumed she was scared.

In fact, no one could truly be fearless, after all, such natural disasters were beyond human control.
