Just as Xing Rui had entered and before she even had a chance to speak, Fourth Master came in after her.
She hastily greeted him with coquetry and charm.
Ye Zao followed suit in greeting him, but she did not kneel; she simply bowed.
Seeing the packed bundle behind her, Fourth Master asked, "What is this? Where did it come from?"
"Replying to Master, these are my belongings. I am moving them back now. I am slow in packing because of the lack of help," Ye Zao said with a smile, stepping forward to attend to him.
Xing Rui was already one step ahead. "Let this servant help Master dress."
Then she quickly added, "It was not proper for Sister Ye to stay in the main tent after all. Now that she is moving out, it is only right. Master needn't bother himself with this."
Her words carried an air as if she was the one in charge.
The maids all laughed inwardly.
Ye Zao did not say anything but simply glanced at Fourth Master.
