KELLY'S POV
The security team arrived at the perfect time. The chief of security was talking to his subordinates, and I was sitting on the side of my bed, with a blanket wrapped around my body. He appeared to be enraged and distraught to the extreme. I'd lost track of how many times he'd apologized to me.
Although I was safe at this point, my body was still trembling from fear. A woman dressed in a suit sat alongside me, assuring me that everything would be fine and that such an incident would never happen again.
However, I'd declined to drink the water that had been provided to me in order to calm me. Instead, I continued to grumble. The manner in which this had been handled is highly inappropriate. ‘‘This is very unprofessional. Very dangerous…’’
The fact that one of their own guards managed to get into the security system and attacked me as the occupant of this building, made my blood started to boil. I was so furious.
