“Lia!” I yelled. “What is this? What are you doing?”

She stormed over towards me. Her hair was a mess now and mascara was running down her face.

“You! This was all your fault!” she growled.

“What did I do?” I asked confused.

My heart thumped hard and I automatically stopped my legs from moving while she continued piercing me with her murderous stare.

“It was your fault why I can’t have children!”

“What? Why me?” I asked, my voice sounding frustration. “Don’t blame me for what’s going on in your life!” I said out of breath. “I’ve been a very good friend to you Lia, don’t mess around, don’t embarrass yourself here! Don’t ruin my engagement party!”

“Me? Ruining your party?” she laughed aloud making me frowned. “Why don’t you ask the father of your child?”

Her eyes shifted behind me and I followed her gaze to find Josh frowning, clueless of what was happening.
