They murmured to one another in low tones, their gazes locked on the doors that had remained tightly shut for hours. The mana emanating from the rooms had only intensified since last night, and now the air outside the doors seemed to warp, shimmering with an almost tangible energy. One side of the hall felt like it was burning with the heat radiating from Amberine's room, while the other was frigid, the cold seeping out from Elara's side.
