บท 36: Chapter 36

Ashley's POV

"What the—" I scrambled off my bed falling to the floor. 

"Wait, what is it?" Cole arose from the bed, his eyes widened in shock like he'd seen a ghost. 

"Cole! What the hell are you still doing here?" I snapped, pulling the sheet around me. 

My mind was racing, trying to piece together the events of last night. 

"Did we—"

"No, no, we didn't," Cole knew what was in mind and stood to hold my hands, "I swear, nothing happened."

I squinted at him, trying to tell if he was lying or saying the truth. Even if I was a lie detector I couldn't look into those mesmerizing green eyes and not fall into them... 

"Then why are you still here? Why didn't you leave?"

"I didn't want to leave you alone after you passed out," Cole explained, looking earnest. "You were really out of it, Ash."

I sat back gently on the bed, as my heartbeat went back to normal. "So, we didn't have sex?"
