บท 329: Isabel return

A month had flown by in a flurry of modeling sessions, project brainstorming, and far too many late nights spent with Carmen by my side.

The time we had to ourselves was precious, even if some of it meant Carmen working from home, hunched over her laptop, her laser-sharp focus almost intimidating.

But today felt different. Isabel was finally back from her long-overdue vacation, and her return promised a fresh wave of energy and probably a few snarky comments.

Despite the shoot I had scheduled for later and the project I was still developing, I couldn't help feeling excited and, honestly, a bit nervous about her return.

As Carmen and I sat at breakfast, I stirred my coffee absently, glancing out the window. Carmen looked up from her tablet, catching the expression on my face. She smirked.

"Isabel coming back that nerve-wracking?" she teased, eyes glinting with amusement.
