Outside, people began to disregard order and rushed frantically into the hospital. A massive crowd pressed into the hospital, as if it were a giant can filled with sardines.
Inside the hospital, people were leaning against the windows, watching the chaos outside. Many had not been able to get in.
In one moment, they were lively, accompanying their parents, children, friends, or coming alone to see a doctor. In the next moment, they might not even know how they died, as hail pelted their bodies, blood and flesh scattered, and their body temperatures rapidly dissipated.
It wasn't just the hospital. Anyone exposed outside found it almost impossible to survive the hail.
Twenty minutes of tornado and half an hour of hail had transformed this once picturesque and bustling tourist destination into a desolate scene. Corpses were strewn across the streets and alleys. Now, no one dared to collect the bodies.
