"Wait! Don't shoot!" Che Hui panicked.
He never imagined that the intruder was indeed just one person and that this person was the girl he thought had died at sea. It was only now that he realized how terrifying the person he had provoked was. This was no pampered young lady; she was a veritable female demon.
"If you kill me, you won't escape when others come. You might as well keep me as a hostage," Che Hui pleaded.
"You sent people to kill me, twice," Wen Nannan said, her expression indifferent. "Have you forgotten so soon?"
She fired a shot directly at Che Hui's head. She had risked her life to reach this point and wasn't about to give him a chance to counterattack.
"Stop pretending to be unconscious if you're awake," Wen Nannan said to the technician who was feigning unconsciousness by covering his ears. "Get up and broadcast."
"Miss Wen…"
Wang Ping recoiled as he looked at Wen Nannan, whose clothes and hands were stained with blood.
