บท 121: Did You Have Sex With Raymond?

Grace returned from school and found her mom in the kitchen. She approached her and noticed she was cooking.

It had been long since she saw her mom cook "Hello."

Mei Li smiled at Grace. "You are back; you should go freshen up and come have a meal with me."

Grace nodded and turned to leave, but she stopped on her track and said, "My friend from university invited me out; is that okay?"

Mei Li was excited to hear her talk about a friend who wasn't Raymond. She dropped the spoon and approached her, "This your friend; is it a male or a female?"

"A male, he is Sun Peng. We used to work in the ice cream shop together," she explained, and Mei Li sighed.

"Isn't his standard way below yours?" She was happy that it was a common guy, but he was too common to be interacting with her daughter.

"I will freshen up now." Grace ignored her question and left; she didn't even want to pry into the thought about Sun being below her standard.
