"It's time," Fang Ao raised his head from the transmission jade slip to look at Di Tian. "Ready?"

"Certainly," Di Tian smiled. "Shall we?"

Fang Ao was expressionless as the True Saint Lord handed him a ring.

"The symbol of the True Saint Lord's authority," he said. "I hand it to you."

Prime Shadow Saint retrieved a sceptre and handed it to Di Tian, "The symbol of the Prime Shadow Saint's guardianship position. I hand it to you."

Di Tian collected it with a faint smile.

Below the platform they were standing on, the Saints of the present and immediate previous generation watched on with rapt attention.

"As the new bearer of the symbol, you are now recognized as the True Saint Lord," the former True Saint Lord said to Fang Ao, making a cursory bow. "Long live, True Saint Lord Fang."
