He carried a spatial bag from which he quickly retrieved a set of strange black stones, each engraved with intricate runes that seemed to pulse with a faint, otherworldly light.
Without wasting a moment, the butler began placing the stones in a precise formation around the house. Each stone landed in its designated spot with a soft thud, the runes on them glowing faintly as they connected with the ground.
Leon watched with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. The Viscount and the butler then began to channel their Qi into the stones, the air around them shimmering as their energy flowed into the formation. The runes on the stones glowed brighter with each passing second, casting an eerie glow over the destroyed landscape. Leon had no idea what they were doing, but he trusted that the Viscount wouldn't do anything to harm his own daughter.
He wanted to ask what was happening, but the intense focus on the Viscount and the butler's faces told him that any distraction could be disastrous. He bit his tongue, his fists clenched at his sides, he hated the fact that he wasn't able to do anything...
Suddenly, beams of light shot out from all the rune stones, converging in the air above the house. The lights intertwined, forming a translucent orange dome-like array that encased the entire structure. The air inside the dome seemed to settle, the wild frost essence contained within its boundaries.
Leon's eyes widened in amazement as the array solidified. He turned to the Viscount, who was now breathing heavily, beads of sweat glistening on his forehead.
