The redhead moved to the window shop, the sign above reading "Gao's cooking spices". She presumed that the seller was the one with the name and hence why she named the shop that way.
Verona stood in front gazing up at the woman still engrossed in sorting out different spices with sweet aromas. She looks up with a smile but it instantly faded when she perceived her scent and realized the woman wasn't a regular.
"Welcome foreigner. What can Gao do for you?" the she-wolf asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. The redhead felt relieved that the vendor was one of those persons who showed no interest to the happenings in the palace, or else she would have recognized her as the former Queen.
Verona lips stretched in a smile, a first in a long time. Her cheeks bones hurt from such little gesture and the tingling plane made her feel pitiful. "I'm just looking for some…special ingredients. You know, for cooking."
