All the high ranking individuals in Virtya's cohort were wearing leather boots that had well polished soles made of timber. These boots enabled them to walk comfortably on this muddy terrain unlike the other workers who were barefooted because they couldn't afford an extravagant item like a pair of sandals, let alone a leather boot.
Just like Alexandre, Tanya and Osip, Virtya was wearing a black suit, a black overcoat and black leather boots. The only attire that exempt Virtya from the others was that he was wearing a top hat. On the other hand, Galina was wearing a white overcoat, a black dress and black leather boots.
All of them came down from their horses and a knight guided them into the warehouse.
The sunshine was appearing and disappearing because of the moving dark clouds that were obscuring it, this made the site to be slightly chilly but the ongoing activities made the workers to be hot and sweaty. It seemed that if things went right, then it would basically be raining in the evening but this didn't stop Virtya from proceeding with what he had planned to do on his particular day.
"I can see that all the needed components are here. We also have a few substitutes in case one of the components met a glitch or it has a flaw." Virtya nodded his head as he walked while overseeing the components of the huge steel turbine blade. The warehouse didn't have a well made floor as the floor was also muddy just like outside. After all, this warehouse was built on the night of the day before this day so that it could shelter these components and ensure that they were not stolen or destroyed by the rain or floods in case Salto river became flooded just like how it used to.
Each component was stored in a separate room within the warehouse so that it would be easier to assemble them without the need of searching through the pile of they were piled up together.
It was only 20 robust workers who had joined Virtya and his 50 highly trained knights. These workers were masterfully pointed out because of how hardworking they were, they worked enthusiastically and that was why Virtya was going to use them to install the steel turbine blade in to the waterfall, unfortunately, unrevealed to Virtya, there was an assassin sent by king Brisbois among the selected workers. This assassin was wearing a tattered piece of clothing just like those worn by the slaves and he was pale, out of place and he didn't stand out much but when one looked at him closely, they would see a calculating look in his eyes. He was just biding his time.
