ตอน 9: The first proper mission...
After Kakashi told us to arrive early in the morning tomorrow for the escort mission, I returned back home.
He was hesitating to accept it as we all were just geninns, inexperienced in combat and real life situations. And it was a escort mission especially, there were chances of being ambushed or attacked so it was risky.
But in the end Kakashi thought they would never gain any experience if they just avoid dangerous missions and accept the easy ones.
I had half of the day remaining which I decide to train. Thanks to Luna providing every details about the ninjutsu and different chakra release techniques.
Naruto's left eye changed into rine-sharingan as he teleported to the desert dimension. A thousands of clones of Naruto appeared out of nowhere, without any hand signs. His mastery over chakra was up to such extent that the chakras moved according to his wishes.
Leaving his shadow clones there to train, Naruto himself teleported to the ice dimension. The temperature was below the freezing point, but Naruto himself was barely affected by it.
In the distance large mountains made up of pure ice could be seen, snow was falling everywhere, just as the snow reached Naruto's body a steam of vapor was released as the ice evaporated before it could freeze him.
"Well, this seems perfect..."
Naruto extended his hand forward, a orb glowing light below appeared on his hand, 'Rasengan huh...'
Rasengan was one of the most powerful techniques in the series, the thing was that the old Naruto was just too dumb to use it to full extent.
[Well, blame that perverted toad, who taught him nothing than just increasing its size.]
"Pfft...true..." Naruto giggled a bit, he focused on the rasengan on his hand and it's size started to reduce until it finally condensed to the size of a table tennis ball.
The ball floated toward the tip of his index and middle fingers as Naruto extended his hand straight ahead, aiming like a gun.
The sphere suddenly started to elongate, its tip became pointy and end blunt. It kind of looked like a .22 LR bullet, but the thing was it was rotating at such high speed that if it penetrated something, even the cracks might not appear near the surface it hits.
"Pew!" The compressed bullet shaped rasengan flew away from his fingers way faster than the speed of sound.
It moved toward the mountain creating a sonic boom on its path, and when it hit the mountain....it just created a perfect hole, you could clearly see from one end to the other.
"What am I going to even use this for...." Naruto looked at the mountain, he himself was surprised with the result. The bullet penetrated the mountain before the rest of it even could respond....it would not have been so surprising if it stopped after one...no, it went penetrating second and third after which it finally dissipated losing its energy.
"Yup...that's enough training alright...the clones will do whatever they want...I'm out of this shit..."
.....and like that he went back to lazing around.
...........
"Naruto!" Luna Shaked the blonde who was lost in his dreams tightly hugging Luna, who was trying to wake him up.
"Damn...I totally forgot" I wake up rubbing my head hearing Luna's ranting, 'this feels like a sleep inception...I'm sleeping inside my sleep'
I pull Luna who was taking sigh of relief toward me and planted a small kiss on her cheeks. Along with that, I left the heavily blushing Luna and left my consciousness. I could hear her rambling, "Baka! baka! baka!"
*thud*
"What the..."
I fell from the bed, as the first thing in the morning...
*sigh...*
After a while, I reach near the village's exit. I could see Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi waiting along with a grey haired, bespectacled man with a large beard and dark eyes, 'what was his name again...'
"Naruto, you're late..." Kakashi looks at me while sighing to himself and then he turns toward the old man, "this is Naruto, our final team member."
"And Naruto, this is tazuna, we are escorting him today."
I gave a nod in approval, along with a wry smile.
"Good morning, Naruto!" Sakura greeted me while the other, well he's in his regular depressed like looks.
"Morning~"
Tazuna had a disappointed look on his face, how could he not when he was being escorted by kids and there was only one adult. But he could do nothing other than keeping quiet as he lied to them saying he needed protection from bandits not a fucking mafia...
"Now that the introductions are over, let's get going."
We walked along the forest towards the river from where we were supposed to take the boat for the Land of Waves.
I could see the puddles on the way which reminded me of how pathetically Naruto got scared after so much bragging for being a ninja and wanting to be treated like such.
Sigh...
Suddenly, I sensed the fluctuation in life energy nearby; as a jinchuriki it was as easy as breathing, so hiding near was near to impossible.
'And the show starts now...'
Two masked ninja jumped out of the puddle of water, I could see a shocked looked in everyone's faces except Kakashi who still had a calm demeanor. 'I'd be disappointed if he get's shocked by this...'
Out of nowhere, a chain of shuriken wrapped around Kakashi ripping him apart like a piece of paper.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sakura jumped onto me screaming in fear, 'She is just acting isn't she...'
[Tch, stupid bitch...]
I could only chuckle awkwardly at Luna's remarks. Although she said I could have a harem but she's one hell of a jealous girl...
After Kakashi disappeared the two ninja turned toward Tazuna.
'Just how much of dumbass you have to be to ignore the one who escaped your attack so easily...'
I could see Sasuke getting into a fighting stance, "mind coming down for a bit? I'll hold you as much as you want later, kay?" I said with a cute smile, the ninja's? they were just like a joke to me at this point. I'd even defeat them with my eyes closed.
'The clones sure worked hard yesterday...'
"Y-yesh!" Sakura's whole face colored pink, and with a heavy blush she came down unwillingly.
The two ninja thinking this was the perfect moment, were going to rush toward Tazuna but they felt a cold touch of a metal on both of their necks.
"Peek-a-boo! Motherfuckers!!" One of my clones, who had his sword at the neck of the one horned ninja, spoke in a loud voice.
"Language!" Other spoke while pointing his blade from behind at the two-horned ninja's neck.
"Language my ass..."
I couldn't help but twitch my eyebrows hearing my clones conversation. Luna said that the clones would share some of my personalities so...'I guess it's just me after all...'
I could see sweat streaming down on the ninja's faces. They didn't even notice how the clones got behind them.
"That was soooooo cool!" Sakura said with an excited excitement, if this was the anime, maybe I could even see stars or hearts in her eyes.
"Come out sensei, you're bad at hiding..." I spoke aloud looking toward the bushes at the side.
Kakashi walked toward the the ninjas and struck at their neck with two fingers effectively making them unconscious.
"Good job Naruto." Kakashi said with a surprised expression, out of all he hadn't expected Naruto to effectively neutralize two Chunnin level ninjas. 'Whatever the fox is teaching him, it sure is working...'
"When did you even form the clones?" Sasuke asked me narrowing his eyes, he couldn't understand how Naruto who was way dumber and weaker than him became so smart suddenly.
"Just when they appeared...."
"I didn't see you forming any hand signs!"
"Yeah, that was the whole point. How would that be a surprise if they saw me forming hand signs??"
Sasuke's eyelids flickered in annoyance.
Ignoring him, I looked toward Tazuna, who was staying quiet the whole time, "So old man? Will you start spilling what you've been hiding...or should I make you?"
"Oh, you noticed?"
'Yeah, I watched the show...' Is what I wanted to say but, "Well they were focusing on eliminating him rather than us, it wasn't really hard to notice."
"Naruto is right, if you had told us that you would be attacked by ninjas, it would have been B-rank or higher." Kakashi said narrowing his eyes.
....
Somewhere else...
"Did you say that you failed??" A shaggy brown haired man wearing glasses and suit spoke angrily, "I paid a lot of money to hire you guys! and you still failed??"
"Stop your dammed grumbling!", A muscular man with spikey black hair and bandages like mask pointed his sword toward the man speaking before, "I'll kill him myself..."
"B-but it seems he has hired some high level ninjas as bodyguard"
"Just who do you think I am?" he lowered his giant sword, "I'm the demon of the hidden mist..."

(A/N: Welp here's another chapter. Lol the action scenes are boring aren't they?
I'm trying to improve, idk how long it'll take lol....anyways give me POWERRRRRRRRRRRRSGERGSGJEGJWKSFJ...
