Savannah was sure that Arthur could hear her heartbeat from how loud it thumped.

But the butler just grabbed the laundry basket, emptied it, and then returned it to its rightful spot before leaving the bathroom for the last time.

She had to lean her head against the frosted glass of the shower, lightheaded from anxiousness.

Savannah hadn't realized that Arthur had been coming to the bathroom until it was almost too late.

She then had to dash to hide, somehow managing to make it.

The shower was the worst possible place to hide in too, because if Arthur had been paying closer attention, he would have seen her right away.

She remained in the bathroom until she was sure that Arthur was gone from the bedroom, only then did she get to her feet.

Now Savannah could breathe easy, she made her way back to the bedroom.

Davian's scent was everywhere, even in the bathroom, she was certain she would wake up with a headache or worse.
