Chapter 14
"So, you are the leader of Hidden in the waterfall village! I never thought someone so young could be a leader of a shinobi village!" Sakura exclaimed as Naruto felt bored looking at it all.
Their new client was none other than the leader of Taki village.
"W-What! What was that!" That so-called leader hid behind Sakura as a bird flew by.
Who was a coward of epic proportion...
'For God's sake, how in the hell did he become the leader of a shinobi village!?' He didn't say it out loud but everyone in his team had the same question or something along the lines.
"I read Taki village is a shinobi village. Why Taki shinobis are not protecting you?" Naruto questioned as both of his teammates looked at Shibuki, who now looked annoyed.
With a huff to show his dissatisfaction, " You don't have to worry about that. You just have to escort me to the border of Taki village." This time Naruto wondered if Shibuki had more screws loose than he had thought before.
'He is an ungrateful ass.' Naruto didn't know much about Taki village other than Fu being from the village. He remembered the chunin exam Sakura gave in the show. But besides that he didn't know much about Taki, besides the knowledge from the library that is.
"Naruto, you have to remember our mission is to escort him to his destination. If Shibuki-san doesn't wish to disclose more to us, we cannot pressure him." Yamato reminded him, though he could see how even Yamato looked down on Shibuki and years of life as an ANBU member made it easier for Yamato to hide the fact.
"Ahh! What was that?" Suddenly Shibuki ran behind Yamato and pointed in a direction.
Even though Naruto's chakra sense told him there was no shinobi, he still went on guard, just like his teammates. Only for a squirrel to run out of the bush, then it ran back seeing them.
All of them let a collective sigh seeing this.
All of them now wished to finish the mission as fast as possible and go back to Leaf Village.
And like that Shibuki jumping around from time to time, from his fear of almost every moving thing they reached the border of the Taki village.
"Finally! I no longer have to suffer enduring the brats!." Shibuki exclaimed as he ran in front of a waterfall, his face full of happiness.
'We should be saying that!' All three genins had similar thoughts hearing Shibuki. Naruto was already thinking about pulling some mean pranks on Shibuki.
"Now, you can go away." Shibuki pointed at them and waved his hand like he was telling his servant to go away. That only made Team 7 look down on him even more.
"Shibuki! Shibuki! It's village leader Shibuki!" Naruto watched as two children ran toward them, a glance at them told him they were collecting trash.
'So, the village is behind the wall.' Two birds flew high, their destination the Taki village.
'A strong earth user and the village would become history.' He thought as one of the shadow clones showed how the village was protected.

On the other side inside the Taki village. Dozens of shinobi stood in a group. Most of them had rain village forehead protectors but some with none, and the leader with Taki village forehead protector.
The so-called leader looked at the non-forehead protector shinobi.
"As for our deal, we will let you handle the leaf team and give you a cup of Hero water." He said as he stood up and glared at them. "But remember this I am Suien, a jonin. If you try to betray me in any way, you will die."
To that, none of the shinobis showed much of a reaction. One of them took a step, making the entire situation more tense.
"We understand."
The situation calmed down as he took his step back and went back to his place.
"I really don't feel they are trustworthy. They definitely have ulterior motives." Kirisame whispered to his partner Musame.
"Keep an eye on them when fighting." Musame agreed with Kirisame.
Suddenly a new shinobi joined them. "Sir Suien, Shibuki is back with the leaf shinobis." He said in a respectful tone.
Suien paused for a moment, then his smile got even bigger, it was more like a sadistic grin now.
"That brat is back. What about his guards?" He questioned.
"A jonin and his three genins, as far as we have able to find out." Hearing that he glared at the shinobis with no forehead protector, " Don't disappoint me and take care of the leaf shinobis. We will capture that brat, the entire village is already under our control."
To that the masked shinobis left.
"You all get into position. We will see how strong the Konoha shinobis and our unknown allies are. Only after that we will attack Shibuki and capture him."

Sasuke found it a little amusing as all three of them were helping the two children collect trash. The amusing thing, it was just like one of the D ranks they do in the village.
"Stay away from me. I am the village leader. You should show respect to me." The fact that the leader of Taki was even fearful of the children.
'Then again he fears his own shadow.' Taking his mind from that he glanced at the waterfall. It would be a lie to say he was not curious to see the village hidden behind it.
His eyes went to his mysterious blonde teammate. Sasuke was half sure it was the real deal. Though if he had to guess the real was probably already inside the village.
'He really thinks of us as idiots. Any shinobi with basic skills can climb up and enter the Taki village, all that without knowing about the hidden entrance.' He paused as he felt someone looking at him. His instinct was far sharper because of Naruto and his shadow clones.
Without a second thought, he picked up both children and jumped closer to Yamato Sensei.
His action was like the spark that lit the fire. His Sensei and teammates were ready for action.
"What! What happened!? Are we under attack!?" He ignored the fool, he had no time for that.
"Sakura protect them." He said leaving the two children to her, his attention to his surroundings.
"Be careful, Sasuke." To that he only gave a nod.
The next moment he found five shinobis coming out of the forest. Three went for their Sensei and two toward him.
"Protect me! Protect me! Your mission is to protect me." He had half a mind to yell at the bastard and say their mission had ended almost half an hour ago. But still, with his two hands, he threw six kunai at the two enemies. Which they evaded effortlessly, making him feel more pressure.
From the corner of his eyes, he could see his Sensei get tangled in battle with the other three shinobi.
And he also knew that the Naruto with them was a shadow clone. Why else Naruto would support him using kunai and shuriken.
Holding his tongue and not cursing Naruto he took the next step. From his bag two demon-wing-shuriken came out and a few meters before they reached him he completed making hand seals for his new jutsu.
"Lightning style: lightning flash." Both Fuma shuriken went very fast toward the enemies. He could feel the lightning-charged attack as they were getting closer to the enemies.
To his surprise and annoyance, both of them turned into water clones.
From the waterfall the same two shinobis came out, dozens of shuriken and kunai flying toward him. He jumped out of his place as he also countered using his kunai. Behind him, Sakura had already completed her defensive earth walls.
"Sakura! Help me!" Sasuke widened his eyes hearing the voice. Because it was his voice! And he did not call Sakura!
It was one of the enemy shinobi!
Boom
"Sakura, STOP!" It was a little late as Sakura came out of an Earth wall by smashing her fist through it.
Sasuke's distraction made him pay the price as a kunai pierced into his shoulder, making him wince in pain. It was also enough for Sakura to abandon her position and run towards him.
Sasuke this time really wanted to curse out loud. To his growing horror, he saw the two shinobis target Sakura. And their kunai were about to reach her. In the best case, she would get injured, though he couldn't help but think of the worst case.
So, with all of his willpower, he moved his uninjured hand through his kunai to intercept the attack. 'Move, move, MOVE!' The world slowed down as he felt clarity like never before, and without thinking he threw his kunai, which at the last moment deflected the Kunai going toward Sakura.
He felt relieved.
BOOOOM
Sasuke almost stumbled as he felt the earth shake. The next moment massive wind slammed into everyone. It was not that strong, but the same couldn't be said about the two shinobis, both of them went flying to the waterfall.
"Bastard, where the hell you have been." He complained but he felt relieved and deep down knew that they were safe.
After all even Yamato Sensei had to handicap Naruto. He knew how cunning and vicious Naruto could be.
"Sorry, Sasuke, I was taking care of another problem," Naruto said as fifteen shinobi completely tied came to everyone's view, every one of them was in the hands of two of Naruto's shadow clones.
"Su-su-SUIEN!" Like practiced ease, he ignored the shocked shouting of Shibuki. He saw the forehead protector and understood the situation. He also understood Naruto was busy cleaning up other problems.
"SASUKE! You are injured!" He didn't stop Sakura from helping him.
"Now that you have red eyes, you will have no excuse when I beat you up." Naruto's words made him feel shocked. Looking around he understood the difference, the reflection on the Kunai also made it pretty clear.
Two tomos spinning slowly.
A bust of happiness filled his heart as he didn't even feel any annoyance at Naruto's words. He had finally awakened his Sharingan!

"Thank you all for protecting us," Shibuki said with a respectful bow. If he hadn't seen the previous behavior he would have thought it was another person. Naruto glanced at Sasuke who had his shoulder bandaged.
"We appreciate it. But we also have to go back to report about the attack. Some of the attackers were able to run away" Yamato Sensei said.
"Yes, of course. I again thank you all for rescuing the people and capturing the missing-nins. We the people of Taki village are deeply grateful for all you did for us." Shibuki was now more like a leader. Though Naruto was not sure how long Shibuki would act like that, after all his cowardly nature did not leave him.
"These are some little gifts. I hope you like it." Naruto was cursing to see what was inside but decided to put it in his bag.
After some goodbyes to the kids all of them were on their way to leaf. Or at least he thought that.
"You three stay in the hotel. I will be back tomorrow morning." Yamato Sensei said as he and his clones took the prisoners with him.
If Naruto had to guess Yamato was taking the prisoners to one of the border posts or some secret post. High in the sky two birds started to follow Yamato.
All three of them entered the hotel and started to make their bed. They talked with each other and in the evening Naruto looked dazed.
"Okay, Naruto. See you in a while." Sakura said her goodbye, cheerfully.
"Don't get lost."
Because both Sakura and Sasuke left him alone and went on a date.
"I am the third wheel... Bastards! They are showing off now. Like I can't go on a date... I wish Hinata was here." He grumbled a little. Then he looked around.
"Never mind, I can enjoy myself alone." The town was very lively in the evening. Walking around Naruto found out it was a festival night.
So, with a newfound determination to enjoy his time, he jumped at the chance. He brought gifts. And went to one after another game to enjoy. All the while his mouth did not stop eating one thing after another.
"I am full." Hours later Naruto sat on a bench feeling satisfied.
"I should go back." Naruto was thinking about going back. As he was walking toward his hotel he paused.
"Such a pair of beautiful heavenly melons! Marvelous!" He looked around as his enhanced hearing heard mumbling. Naruto felt a question mark rise on his head.
Never in his life had he heard someone mumble like that. It felt like the other person was drooling.
He found a hot spring near the hotel. Walking near it he entered an alley. Soon he found a white haired man peeking through the hot spring wall.
'This is really, Jiraya! What are the chances!' He exclaimed in his mind.
On the other hand, it looked like Jiraya was just too busy with his work.
"Such valuable research materials!" Jiraya took out a notebook from somewhere and started to scribble.
Naruto walked behind Jiraya. It looked like Jiraya was so busy that he didn't notice Naruto's arrival. Though Naruto was not stupid enough to think Jiraya didn't notice him, not that he trying to hide his presence.
"YOU CAN TAKE CLOSER LOOK," Naruto shouted as he kicked Jiraya so hard that he broke through the weak wall and fell into the hot spring.
"AHHHHH! HELP!"
"THERE'S A PERVERT HERE!"
"SOMEONE CALL THE SECURITY GUARDS."
"RUN!"
"DON'T BEAT ME! I AM INNOCENT!"
"IT WAS JUST A MISTAKE!"
"LADIES NOT THERE! NOT THERE! FOR THE SAKE OF MY FUTURE GENERATIONS NOT THERE!"
Naruto ran away from there laughing to himself. He laughed so hard that even tears came out of his eyes.
After taking a detour he reached his Hotel, only to see Jiraya looking at him with a stink eye, no sign of the beating he got a little while ago. It looked like nothing happened to him.
Naruto walked past Jiraya like he didn't know Jiraya.
"Hey, brat! Why are you acting like you don't know me!" Jiraya said walking beside him.
"Who are you, old man? Some masochistic pervert." Naruto grinned as Jiraya got tic marks on his forehead.
"You, Brat! Like you were not the one to kick me inside the hot spring." Jiraya said as he glared at him.
"Then you shouldn't have done that, old pervert. Besides I don't see you complaining about the beating... You liked it...?" Naruto gave Jiraya once over, this time making it look like he was trying to memorize his look.
"Don't get weird ideas, brat. I was doing my research perfectly fine and you came out of nowhere and kicked me inside the hot spring." To that, Naruto raised one of his eyebrows.
"Research... Really... You can't even find a better excuse than that? And I don't regret a thing, you were peeking in a women's hot spring. At least look a little ashamed."
"A kid like you wouldn't understand. I am a famous author, and people from all over the world love my books. And for their satisfaction, I have to make some sacrifices and do research." Jiraya said as if it was such a holy job. Naruto didn't look impressed.
"Like a fresh genin would understand. You will understand when you get a little older." To that Jiraya said.
"Bye-bye." Jiraya got the final reply as the hotel door slammed in his face.
"Sheesh, the kid's something alright. Never thought I would meet him like this." Jiraya started to walk away.
"Next time I will be the one to kick his ass." That was as far as Naruto heard from inside his room.
Naruto was conflicted about Jiraya. Not enough to show it, but at that time he decided to show some of his dissatisfaction by kicking Jiraya inside the Hot spring.
With a puff few shadow clones appeared.
"Get back to work," Naruto said as the shadow clones vanished, it was their shift to keep an eye on.
Naruto decided to skip his dinner and get some much-needed sleep.
