บท 359: Chapter 354: Taking You Back to School

"You're taking me back to school?" Hong Jing's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at the second eldest.

The second eldest seemed a bit uneasy and tried to explain, "Your ankle is so swollen; it won't go down right away. It's definitely not safe for you to take a train back to North City alone in this condition, and your parents aren't around either. As a friend, it's only right for me to take some time to help you out."

He thought his explanation was perfectly rational; after all, he felt partly responsible for Hong Jing's sprained ankle. It was just a favor, no big deal.

Hong Jing didn't care about his reasons; as long as he would take her, she was happy. She turned her head and started talking on her own about their university, saying that once they arrived, she'd show him around.
