บท 151: Poison to me

Finally, she finishes the last bite, setting down her fork with a sigh of relief. "There. Happy?"

The maids exchange glances, and the first maid nods. "Good. We'll leave you to rest now. If you need anything, just call."

The maids curtsy and leave the room, and the spy waits until she's sure they're gone before she dashes back to the bathroom. She quickly shuts the door behind her and leans against the sink, her legs trembling.

_That was too close. She can't keep this up much longer._

She glances at the metal bar, still hidden under the sink, and debates whether or not to use it. But she knows that would only make the situation worse. She needs to find another way out of this mess.

Suddenly, she feels a wave of nausea wash over her. She barely makes it to the toilet before she's retching, the contents of her stomach spilling out. As she hunches over the toilet, she realizes that something must have been in the food.
