บท 9: Chapter - 9 Ou ki
The man reached the camp, and Shin, prepared to enter battle, looked at him. The man emitted a strange aura as he approached Shin.
"Oh, some interesting things happening here. Did I miss anything?" asked the man on the horse, observing the scene.
Shin, trying to comprehend whether the man was friend or foe, looked back at him. "I heard about you from Shou Bun Kun. You seem quite weak, young Shin."
Leylin observed the conversation unfolding, much like in the manga. After some discussion between them, Commander Heki arrived at the camp and apologized for Shin's behavior. He then revealed that he was General Ouki, one of Qin's great generals.
Ouki began explaining to Shin about the differences between instinctual and strategic generals, prompting Shin to consider betting on the ongoing battle.
Ouki looked in Leylin's direction. "Young boy, whom do you bet on?" he asked. Leylin, gesturing subtly for Jun to follow and Mei and Xin to execute their discussed plan, stepped forward toward Ouki, who exuded an incredible charisma.
"Greetings, General," said Leylin, bowing respectfully with his fists together.
"Fufufu... no need for that. I asked you a question, didn't I?" questioned Ouki.
"Anyone can see that Duke Hyou is a reckless general known for his muscle-headed approach and do not give shit about his actions , while Go Kei is a careful strategist always with a plan. We can discern that by observing the changes in the army's formation," Leylin remarked, gazing out at the battlefield.
"Wei's general has more soldiers than Duke Hyou, who's now employing a reckless approach. Anyone with a little bit of brain can tell who will win," Leylin stated boldly, prompting protests from the Baku Unit behind him.
"Hey, don't insult our general!"
"But he's speaking the truth, you half-brain brother!"
"Even so, he's our gen—did you just insult me and Duke at the same time?"
"I place my bet on the winner of this battle, and that is Duke Hyou," replied Leylin to Ouki, causing shock among all the unit members, including Shin, who appeared somewhat surprised.
"Fufufu... why do you think so?" asked Ouki.
"Duke Hyou is a piece of shit when it comes to strategy, thinking, and army formations. Frankly, a teenager could come up with a better plan. However, he possesses something that many do not: ultimate intuition. Through observing countless wars and strategies, his mind and body have developed a profound intuition. If the enemy makes a move, he senses it uneasily. This ultimate intuition has caused many strategists to fall before him," Leylin explained, gazing directly into Ouki's eyes.
"Combined with his strength, this ultimate intuition makes him more formidable than many generals in the same field," Leylin concluded confidently.
Ouki looked at Leylin with a mixture of admiration and excitement. "What is your name, boy?"
Leylin smiled slightly. "Ley Lin."
