บท 49: Fame, and Helping a Student

This time, Kai didn't try to follow the cloaked figure who was in the middle of the forest. Nam was its name. He wanted to stay alive, so avoiding conflict was the wisest choice.

Kai spent the two months prior to the start of the classes studying his the diary he found about Time and Space magic, and he had learned a few tricks.

For instance, he had way more control over his pocket-watch now, which allowed him to go back 1 hour in time, but with a way lower cooldown. He could use it 5 times a day, meaning he had 5 extra hours!

Also, his activation was way faster now, but it still took him a long time, so the usage was not ideal during combat. Also, he needed all of his mana to activate the pocket watch.

The first day of school was basically the same. Headmaster Finley called for everyone in the main hall, and he gave it a quick speech and introduced some of the teachers that would be teaching during the year.
