บท 41: Exploration (3) - Final

The staircase leading down was devoid of any lightning — like the rest of the underground area — but it was much worse. Kai was having a hard time going down, as he was afraid of falling.

He noticed the staircase had some broken parts, however that was not something that was going to slow him down. Kai went down as fast as possible.

Kai heard the sounds of the chimera hitting the iron door. It only took the monster a few attacks to destroy the door.

A chimera was powerful enough to easily destroy doors, especially an old one like that. The staircase ended and Kai found himself in a type of corridor.

'This place looks like the dungeon!' thought Kai.

When he was locked in the dungeon, he and Luke had heard the noises of people walking but they didn't manage to find the secret passage. Kai was starting to think that the place he was at that moment was the secret passage they looked for.
