A year had passed since the night Lucius killed the Beast Whisperer. The sudden emergence of the Big Five caught the nobles off-guard and disrupted the balance they had been trying to maintain.

However, Lucius' loyalty was costly.

To secure his unwavering support, Mr. White had no choice but to succumb to his demands. To everyone's surprise, Lucius was awarded New Jersey territory with everything within it, including the funds needed to develop a small portion of it.

As a Duke, Lucius was the equivalent of a general. Tens of thousands of soldiers were loyal to him, and Skull was his right-hand man.

A military base was established in New Jersey and the entire urban area was refurbished. When Lucius and the soldiers arrived at the location, they were stunned to find no beast present.

Throughout the reconstruction, there was never a case of beast attacks, even before the installation of Aether Repulsor Beacons.
