Roman's mind had been in a jumble, a tangled web of thoughts and emotions, ever since he'd heard Saanvi's voice on the other end of the line. He forced himself to focus, to clear the haze that had been clouding his thoughts. "Ahh, hey, Saanvi, how are you doing?" His voice sounded strained, lacking its usual seductive tone.

Saanvi, a doctor with a keen eye for human behavior, detected the underlying tension in Roman's voice. "Roman, I'm fine, what about you? You don't sound very well." She probed gently, her curiosity piqued.

Roman laughed, a hollow sound that echoed through the silence. "Haha, nothing's wrong, I'm just tired, a lot of work, you know." He felt like he was laughing at himself, at the absurdity of his situation.

Saanvi's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with possibilities. "I see. You called pretty late, did you need anything?" She asked, her voice soft but probing.
