บท 193: Hurts
All through the night Jessica stayed up deleting her photos with Travis and crying at the same time, susan didn't come home she got her message about helping Chelsea set up the party and would be home first thing in the morning.
Jessica is awoken by a tray of breakfast and her mom smiling beside her, she can feel her swollen baggy eyes with no idea how she fell asleep last night which she didn't plan to after telling Travis it was over last night on the phone it was bizarre she survived the hell of the night.
"Morning sweetie, I didn't see you throughout yesterday, and you missed dinner plus Mary told me you are still going through with it I mean breakup with Travis and your eyes are evidence I heard you all night" she admitted, Jessica slowly sat up as she cleared her throat, were still in her cloths of yesterday this is the highest stinks and depress she has been.
"Were you spying on me last night Mom?" Jessica asked her voice cracking but she could still speak audibly as she picked up one of the pancakes had a bite and immediately threw it out of her mouth dumping the one she was holding.
"You cook Mom" her mom gets the disappointment.
"That's the best I could do at Least the juice tastes better I don't want to ruin your coffee too" She picked out the tall glass of orange juice and carried the tray to the table.
"I'm sorry, but you don't have to I'm fine" Jessica sips the juice her mom wasn't wrong it tasted so delicious so she ended up gulping it all, she barely had anything to eat, all of yesterday.
"You're far from fine, how about you freshen up then I come back later so we can talk about while you do that I'm gonna order us some comfort food and watch some movies how about that huh," she said taking the glass from her as she took the tray along as well and exit the room.
She had an incoming call it was a princess she ignored it, it had dozens of it none of Travis she felt stupid to even think of it. It hurts so bad as she thinks of it.
Jess bounced Princess's calls not in the mood to take any call hours breaking up with the love of her life, she was in her room putting her things in another. when she heard a soft knock.
"Come in" she said as the door unlocked it was her mom she went over to sit in the swing while her mom sat on the bed. These days mom has been around the house.
"Thanks for that little breakfast Mom," Jessica said, her mom smiled.
"It was awful but I think I'm going to spend time on YouTube watching cooking videos is more fun than Instagramming" she said. There was an awkward silence and it was killing Jess.
"Mary told me" she muttered sitting on the bed.
