This book, wears a lot of its inspirations on its sleeves. But at the same time, I think I've done a pretty nice job of crafting something really refreshing to read. I've always had a thing for showbiz-themed novels and I decided to just give it a shot. So, feel free to peruse through the novel and if you like it, don't hesitate to drop a review. What really matters here is the songs. You can't tell the melody of the songs with emojis. No matter how meaningful you write the lyrics, it will never be a song. That effect doesn't happen unless we open the song and read it ourselves. This is my opinion. Also, you are not in china original celebrities, brands, people you can use.

I've read a lot of these and this was by far the most boring I've ever read...it started off so interesting...the Mc was interesting and a nice guy.. Cool...they gods or whom ever die...then for wtver reason u choose a talent show..why idk ...this dude has no sort of dive although we knw his goal ..did he look for an agent nah ..one just found him...did he create social media to boost him with his songs or presence nah ....so why do the talent show he clearly had appraisal which show he's not the most talent nor was he growing fast enough to out pace them...for a story that's paid .. I wasn't hook afte 37 chapters I was disappointed but all of tht investment went down the drain ..all for what nothing.....

It doesn’t hit quite as hard since there’s no melody but I think it still did quite well for something mostly focused on music but with no way to actually play it. Although if I may rant a bit it genuinely baffles and hurts me that this is lower in ranking than some random bs like I became an evolving space harem monster. Like how are there so many incredibly successful shitty harem stories on this app. Are we as a collective this pathetic? It’s the reason I can’t tell people I enjoy reading fanfiction and light novels in my spare time, since it feels like stories like those are almost half of all on this platform.

I really love it I literally saw it as a read for a fast pass and just binged read it in about a day hope it can come out quicker but from what I saw as the update frequency it's already good just want more already I guess😝😝

I read this story and versatile superstar back to back. if versatile superstar was a 5* book in the showbiz genre, then this has to be the followup 6* improved version. The biggest complaint about the story is the beginning and that it's very similar, especially arc 1 and arc 2 which ends around the 30th chapter and was it 50th chapter respectively. However, like I mentioned, it's a superior 6* improved version. Everything was improved and just blows up and spirals into an amazing story. Aiden vs Kyle, Kyle wins easily. He's such a chill mc with known goals and is pretty much the antithesis of Hollywood. His song selection are also much better, he just doesn't create songs randomly, so far all of them have had inspirations for them making it more interesting. System beta vs System 1.0, the system in this novel is like the official much cleaner 1.0 version of it. Stat increase and skills are better described, developed, and used. They are very similar to the beta version of versatile, but it's like a quality of life improvement that makes it better to read and look at. The side characters in this novel are where it completely trumps versatile. The reactions are much better done, and those characters also have a part in the story and just as much apart of the story as anyone else. The cast of friends, rivals, and enemies are generally just more interesting as well, since the friends interactions are some of the best, and you are cheering for them as much as the Mc. The agent for this story is also better introduced and acted with, someone you know is fully on Kyle's side.

I really like this story. The mc is interesting and you can see how he gets better at what he is doing. Sometimes he is a bit too lucky but a bit of plot armor never hurts and he doesn’t get everything just handed to him. He works very hard for the things he achieved. The update schedule is very good and the supporting characters aren’t a blank sheet of paper (but would deserve a bit more attention). I don’t remember any major spelling mistakes or something like that. The story is enjoying to read and I was hooked from the first chapter. Check it out and give it a try. You probably won’t regret it.

@ chapter 140. I love this story! There are some minor mistakes that have I started to notice on my 4th read through of the currently released chapters. This is the ONLY story on WebNovel that I continue to be happy spending money on. I love how unashamed the inspiration for certain things are and how it’s different enough that it’s not a direct take from what is. It brings back fond memories. I have found myself reading chapters and then going and looking back at the inspiration material (sorry no “spoilers”) and re-enjoying those moments. Thanks for writing this, I sincerely hope nothing causes you to drop this and while I would like the story to never end I hope you give us a satisfactory ending once it inevitably happens.

The acting scenes are nice the singing and lyrics are ok at best it’s not easy to write lyrics that sound good without taking form something that’s already been made. My main issue is my man Kyle is a monk. His lack of interest in romance or even just women irks me I mean bro isn’t human and he’s super dense most of the time. But overall I love it even though there’s no romance or spice at all.

I don’t really give 5 stars as there is always something to improve, but this one is very very close. I usually just drop the stories that start requiring me to check-in daily or pay for the chapters, but this is 1 of 2 that I have decided I didn’t care and just wanted to read more. I could care less about the actual lyrics and some scenes that are described, but they get the idea across and the story itself is a page turner. If you enjoy a down to earth, ?lucky? and talented main character who stays humble even while getting progressively overpowered (not sure if that really fits in this case) then you will love this one. Just finished chapter 110 so not yet sure about anything after that.

it’s alright author tries to make it “real” but he levels up extremely quick he took away a level for some odd reason and mc didn’t really feel like the mc for the chapters it was free he basically shared the lime light with lily, lily got a big focus throughout these chapters it wouldn’t far fetched to say she was the mc ofc she was the one who beat the mc her winning was like a popularity contest author tries to make it seem like it was because she was the better singer but literally the comments he wrote were about some of them being die hard lily fans

I usually don't really waste my time trying to give reviews but this novel just wrenched one outta me. It's a beautiful masterpiece that navigates the world of reality and fantasy, with neither an overrated drama nor an op MC. The system is just optimally used to give the MC a boost in his endeavors to the stardom and not to overpower him. The friendships the MC forms and the stories that bring their bond together are simply heartwarming to say the least. The MC himself is a breath of fresh air who isn't cold, arrogant or narcissistic. There hasn't been a romantic aspect till now but as someone who originally started reading this novel thinking it would incorporate romance earlier on, I cannot really complain. The story is so mind gripping that you wouldn't mind a lack of romance for now. As someone who always saw systems being a part of some emotionless sci-fi crap I cannot deny the fact that this system was granted to MC solely by the sacrifice of his loved ones which leaves a bittersweet feeling throughout the story even if it's only mentioned rarely. As someone who was expecting a lot of drama and face slapping in the world of showbiz, I am very surprised to find nothing of the sort in this novel which somehow continues to still keep a firm grip on the attention of readers. I definitely have to applaud the author for a job well done to create a story that does not require drama, face slapping, continued romance, or for that matter of fact a rich CEO persona, all of which I usually find in many novels. The fact that the lack of said tropes still managed to make this a very interesting story is what makes the author brilliant in their work. At the end I just wish to say I can see more of Kyle's ventures into stardom through the whimsical and fantastical mind of the author, but for that to happen we need more and definitely a LOT more updates. Please quench my thirst for more updates author, I cannot wait for the rest of the world you're building. Lots of love. 🥰

I’m not one to usuallly write reviews for novels but this has been by far one of the most interesting reads in a while, i just couldn’t put it down. While to world is a fairly typical celebrity setting and the writing can sometimes be flat( especially in the lyrics where you can really tell the melody) there is a weird sort of charm with the story that makes it very captivating
