บท 166: Elite's Arrival

"Is this the place?", Ray asked, peering up towards the top of the Azure peak. 

"Yes, that's right", Milo replied as the mountain began to part, giving way to the typical marble staircase. 

Ray was the first to step onto it, "Doesn't look very sacred to me …". 

His sentence fell short as a wave of pure mana rushed into his core, his lips quivered as a smile snapped onto his face, "You know what, I take it back. The density of the mana in this mountain is absolutely mouth-watering, I feel m core tingling just by stepping foot here". 

"BEGONE!", a vicious roar echoed down the mountain side. 

Milo stepped onto the staircase, "Relax Monique, they are all with me, annoying as they may be they are useful allies to have". 

"…", there was a momentary silence before Monique responded, her voice shifting from the fierce, hoarse draconic tone to that of a dainty young woman, "As you wish".
