บท 78: Dark Cornered

Milo stared in silence as he watched Dark trace his hand along the empty void. Unlike when Milo attempted to touch the wall, when he would slip straight through and almost vanish into oblivion, Dark seemed to act delicately with it, almost as if he knew what it was made of, or what it was for that matter. 

Milo could tell by the saddened look on Dark's face that he would have no interest in speaking about what he saw. But Milo also couldn't just sit here and allow their best source of information to piss around simply because he was feeling sad. It was a point to remember that even now, just being close to this thing, their lives were already at risk. 

Milo could tell from the immense flow of mana and the distance this isolation technique covered that, if it decided to randomly blow up, unlikely but not entirely impossible, everything around them would be levelled and they would get killed in an instant.
