บท 55: Current World

'Kukuku … you really ripped his ears clean off you stinking brat! What had you so pissed off anyway'.

The soul trapped in the daggers continued to piss Milo off despite them returning back to the castle. It was weird, it was the first time Milo wielded them since he had broken through to the King realm, but he felt like the old vampire had become a lot more talkative. 

Maybe it was something to do with his mana becoming more in sync with the souls own, or his own emblem developing to a new level. Whatever it was … it was incredibly annoying. 

'Come on! Talk to me!'. 

Milo ignored him and settled down on a chair in the dining area where a maid quickly placed a plate of meat in front of him. Since his knees had become so weak from the injury, he decided to just abandon fruits and vegetables all together.
