Peter gradually opened his eyes as he discovered that he was in a hospital. Though it could be said to be a welcome relief from the strange visions and nightmares that plagued his unconscious mind.

While he glanced around, he noticed that there were two hospital janitors that were busy cleaning the hospital room he was in, while a doctor attended to his sick bed.

Peter could have managed to maintain his cool if not for the fact that he saw an intravenous syringe piercing his skin and also the doctor preparing to give him another shot.

Needles.

Even though he had bravely fought against powerful and monstrous beasts, he was still very much terrified by the sight of that thin but sharp piece of metal.
