The final monster of the day was the Direflame Wyrm, an elite creature with scales that shimmered like molten lava. Its fiery breath scorched the ground around it, and Remillia had to be careful not to be caught in its flames. After a prolonged battle, she found a weakness in its armor and drove her dagger deep into its chest, extinguishing its life.
With the last of the monsters slain, Remillia took a deep breath, wiping the sweat from her brow. Stephen, who had been diligently storing each fallen creature, approached her with a satisfied grin.
"Ten monsters in one day," he said, impressed. "That's quite the haul."
Remillia nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Let's head back. We've done enough for today."
