''Blessings to the Imperial family, Greetings your majesty the emperor.'' As always, chatters and murmurs ceased and all nobles present in the banquet hall acknowledged the regal presence of the emperor.

Rhett was no exception.

Even if he was greatly displeased at the moment, Rhett knew that he could achieve nothing. He wasn't even in the same status as his bastard cousin despite his true legitimacy.

''Enjoy the banquet.'' was all the emperor said, intending to sit on the throne throughout the banquet, as he had always done.

''Your majesty.''

Aurora left the Rose and Windsor family to meet up with the emperor on the way. Her behavior warranted visible frowns from the surrounding nobles.

A mere queen with no background blocking the path of the emperor.
