Qin Jian immediately left his game of chess and went upstairs, only to see An Hao lying on the bed, her face somewhat pallid.
"What's wrong? You look so pale. Are you feeling unwell?"
"It's nothing. Just my period! My stomach will feel better after I lie down for a bit," An Hao said, frowning.
"Laying on your stomach must be uncomfortable, why don't you lie flat and I'll rub it for you."
An Hao rolled over to lie flat, and Qin Jian's large hand slipped under her clothes, gently massaging her flat and soft lower abdomen.
An Hao felt much better from the massage, and her complexion also eased up quite a bit.
Her mind had been focused solely on her stomachache, but now that she felt much better, she remembered the duel notice Cheng Yue had asked her to deliver: "Qin Jian, there is something I want to talk to you about."
Qin Jian nodded, indicating for her to continue.
