"Of course!" Haruto answered in his mind.

"Mom! Why did you invite this perverted kid here!" Jie asked angrily, with his cheeks red with anger towards Haruto.
"Hehehe... Haruto is just admiring your beauty, after all, my daughter, you are a very beautiful and attractive woman, of course, a teenage boy like Haruto would be interested and stare at you sincerely." Mei said with a laugh.
"Uh... It's not like that, it's just that, this-" Haruto tried to explain, but was cut off by Jie.
"Quiet!" Jie snapped with a sharp look.
"Uh... Sorry..." Haruto could only surrender and bow his head.
This surprised Mei and Jie, the two mothers and sons looked at each other before Jie sat back down calmly.
"Alright, let's eat. You like spicy food, right? Tonight I'll cook rabbit chili sauce, it tastes really good! So try it!" Mei said, urging Haruto to eat.
"Okay! Thank you for the food!" Then Haruto immediately ate eagerly. Seeing Haruto enjoying spicy food so much surprised Jie, as she also liked the spicy dishes made by her mother Mei. So Jie didn't want her favorite food to be eaten by Haruto, so she quickly ate following Haruto's pace.
Seeing Haruto and Jie eating together made Mei smile. Mei then joined in eating with Haruto and Jie, and after a while, the food on the table was finished by the three of them.
Then Mei took the dirty plates and glasses to the kitchen, helped by Jie, while Haruto just stayed silent, as Jie forbade him to help, which was also forbidden by Mei. In the end, Haruto just stayed there, waiting for them to take the dirty plates and glasses to the kitchen.
After a while, Mei and Jie came out of the kitchen, and Haruto then stood up.
"It's already late, and it's time for me to go, so I will go home now. Thank you for the dinner! I will work hard to find that book! And I will help arrange the books as you said!" Haruto said it enthusiastically.
"Alright, be careful on the way!" Mei said as she watched Haruto walk away.
"What do you think?" Mei asked Jie.
"What do you mean, Mom?" Jie answered confusedly.
"Don't you think Haruto is a good match for you? He's not afraid of you, he can talk normally even after you slapped him, not only that, you both like spicy food, doesn't that mean you're a match?" Mei said it with a big smile.
