(JERICHO)
The thought of going with Wesley to the park thrills me, but my excitement fades off when I hear Wesley and Miles arguing in the other room. I can't quite make out what they are arguing about, but Wesley storms out of the sunroom as though the devil himself is coming after him.
He barely notices me as he charges up the stairs towards the nursery. I scowl and head to the sunroom where I find Miles pacing back and forth. His face goes blank when he sees me, but he looked angry before.
"What was that all about?" I ask, moving closer to him.
"What was what about?" he asks, lifting a brow.
The way he dodges the question doesn't thrill me. "I overheard you and Wesley arguing. What were you arguing about?"
"No." he lies bluntly. "We weren't arguing."
"I overheard you." I sigh exasperatedly. "Plus, Wesley was furious now when he went by me."
