บท 31: Repairs

Seeing this, the tensions in the room immediately went down by a lot. Even all the way back on Earth, Nathan could still feel it so even he was relieved.

"Thank you" Diana said as she focused on her people.

Orin remained sitting but all heard the sigh of relief, being a leader definitely wasn't easy, and being a king was much more difficult.

[Okay anyway, I have a question, there are like zero buildings standing right now… i mean all over the world and i may have turned Washington DC into a massive Darkseid shaped crater.] Nathan asked

"Is that a question or are you telling us a fact?" Batman asked

[I wanted to ask, should I fix them or let it be… i feel like if i fix them, they wouldn't understand the magnitude of this entire event, which prompted me to move them off planet but then i can't exactly just stand and watch them go homeless] Nathan complained

"Let it be" everyone heard the Boy Scout suddenly say

This naturally caused all to turn to him as he was the last person they expected to give such a reply. Nathan himself, expected him to have given some inspirational speech about it.

"Don't look at me, humanity is naturally ungrateful, if there is no proof, they will immediately plunge themselves into war," Superman explained

"Superman is right, this has gone beyond borders, if they return and nothing is out of place then the other nations may take it as some form of show of power from the US and just like that a new war begins… one we would be responsible for" Batman explained better

[Okay when you put it like that, it kind of makes sense] Nathan replied as he flew up into the air to observe the desert around him.

A desert that once used to be a city… all due to Darkseid's Omega beams. They weren't just erasing people from existence, they were entropy, decay and thus all it touches shall decay.

"However, you can help recreate every important site in the world… focus on Religious sites then all other important sites" Batman recommended

[Okay thank you all, a quantum drive has been created on all ships so you all will be returning home in roughly 10 minutes] Nathan said before cutting off his connection to the ships.

Yes, the ships were that far away and they also were not made with any form of warp speed engine. He only needed them to move around in space because he had the Fatherbox to create Boomtubes with.

This was probably his only mistake, returning the Fatherbox, one he would regret but it was necessary. He was Technology and Mother or father boxes had absolute control over such.

The Owner of the Fatherbox could just decide to shut him down one day if he continued holding on to it, of course it didn't happen to the original Cyborg who kept himself integrated with it

However, Darkseid did not attack him too viciously in the original universe so it was best that he freed himself from any form of attachment to said father box.

Connecting himself to the satellites, Nathan immediately began to coordinate the repairs of the planet. Starting with all the religious sites as Batman had stated

Truthfully though the planet could be said to have become barren but he could sense it recovering and scaringly fast. He remembered reading that the entity of life resided within the planet, it seems it was true

Using the Sentries, Nathan began repairing everything he thought people would be outraged about from religious sites to important historical sites… all were repaired or just replaced based on all records available.

He had the entire Internet in his mind both secrets, encrypted, dark or deep part of the web, it was in his mind so if there was anything not on there and he didn't rebuild it

It was entirely on them for not recording it on the internet. Besides, any such information wasn't intended for anyone to view or even know about it.
