บท 202: Shocking Revelation

The next day came with an unexpected phone call. Phil was the one who received it, his face darkening as the conversation with the police progressed.

When he hung up, he turned to the room where Fiona, Liam, and Elena sat, waiting anxiously for him to finish.

"They found a connection," Phil said, his voice heavy with disbelief.

"What is it?" Liam asked and Phil glanced at Fiona and then back at Liam, his mouth heavy with the words he was about to speak.

"Go ahead and tell us," Fiona urged and Phil took a deep breath.

"The detective found out that the assassin… he's linked to..."

"What the hell, Phil? Say it and save us the stress. I wonder why you didn't put the call on speaker," Elena snapped as she eyed Phil.

"He just called to let us know that your mom, Harriet is linked to the assassin," Phil said causing everyone to freeze.

"What?" both Elena and Liam asked at the same time while Fiona remained dazed.
