บท 92: Stop Pretending

Derek had a frown on his face as he stared down at his phone's screen. The hum of the office buzzed around him, a cacophony of ringing phones, clicking keyboards, and murmured conversations.

His office, usually a sanctuary of order and routine, felt like a cage as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. The investigator he had asked to keep an eye on Cora's boyfriend had sent him some videos and pictures.

His eyes were fixed on the first video which wasn't clear enough, as if it had been recorded covertly, but it was clear enough to show Liam's car being followed by a black sedan.

His first thought was that Liam was the target being trailed by Cora's boyfriend even though it seemed he was with Fiona, probably going to drop her off at her house after work.

The car had followed Liam's every move, right from when he and Fiona left the office till they stopped at Fiona's home.
