บท 43: Deal

Liam woke up that morning feeling a tight knot in his chest, a reminder of the events of the previous day.

The argument with his mother still lingered in his mind, and he knew he had to do something about it. He didn't like being on bad terms with her. It felt like a heavy weight was pressing down on him and until he had talked to his mother, that weight wouldn't be lifted off him.

After getting dressed, Liam headed to his mother's house, his heart racing with anticipation. As he drove there, his mind wandered off to Fiona and he couldn't help but wonder how she and her mother was doing.

Deciding to satisfy his curiosity, he dialed her line and connected his phone to his car's blue tooth. He smiled when he remembered he was trying to do just that when he almost got into an accident. An accident that made him cross paths with Fiona.
