บท 55: Revenge, Vengeance

"Don't worry, I definitely won't hurt her... unless you refuse to answer my questions or try to hide things from me," Naruto said, still holding Konan in the air with his Adamantine Sealing Chains technique, which kept her bound tightly to one side of the room.

He understood that Nagato couldn't move freely, which was why he had been relying on those puppet fighters instead of joining the fight himself. Because of this, once his puppets were defeated, he wouldn't have any way to turn the tide back in his favor. All three of them—Nagato, Naruto, and Konan—were fully aware of just how dire the situation was.

Konan desperately attempted to break free using her paper abilities, just as she always had in the past. However, she found herself trapped, unable to escape this time because Naruto had captured her with his powerful Adamantine Sealing Chains.

This special technique not only restrains someone physically but also blocks their chakra, stopping them from launching any chakra-based attacks.

After trying many times to escape, Konan realized her efforts were useless. She stopped struggling and stared at Naruto with a mix of shock and admiration, unable to wrap her mind around how someone so young could be so powerful.

"Now tell me, why did you kill Jiraiya-sensei?" Naruto demanded again, repeating the question he had asked from the beginning.

"Jiraiya-sensei was standing in our way to achieving peace in this world. He had to be removed for peace to be possible. His death was necessary for the world to find its way back to harmony."

"Peace!? Are you seriously saying that killing Jiraiya-sensei was your idea of bringing 'peace'?" Naruto questioned, "Are you out of your mind? Or wait, did I mess up your head with my technique?" Naruto added with a sarcastic tone.

"You're just a kid with too much power for your own good... You wouldn't understand. But tell me, why did you come here? Why did you attack Amegakure all by yourself? What was your reason? Was it revenge?" Nagato asked.
