Sorry for the relative shortness of this chapter, I have a head ache, am tired and also just completed a DND game as a DM... KNOW MY PAIN!!!!
Anyway, hope you enjoyed, please give my discord and Patreon a check and I'll see you all tomorrow!

Finishing up the cake for my women, the last of the ingredients going into the fridge, I sighed in contentment as I had made a beautiful five-layer cake with a lemon-meringue topping and a creamy body to it. This would be a present for my wives when they finished sleeping...
Washing off the cutlery with my magic and dusting my hands before washing them a sense of accomplishment came over me. This was momentary however as I gazed around, finding that my life was now lacking in things to do. No doubt I would need to visit work later, but for the morning and early afternoon, I was free. Bored, that's what I was. Sitting around watching TV shows was good and all but only enjoyable for me when my women were beside me enjoying it too. Cleaning wasn't a thing I needed to do and most other chores were also completed for us.
'Should I get a hobby?'
Why not? You could try making things from that database of knowledge you got?
'Is that really a hobby?'
Technically...? As long as you treat it like a hobby and do it in your spare time...
'... fuck it, i'll try. I may be able to cause some revolutions in technology.'
I didn't begin immediately, my time being spent searching through the millions of pages of text within my mind. It was laborious. I couldn't even simply read it using my magic spell since it was imprinted on my brain and wasn't technically a document that could be 'read'. Thus, i spent several minutes reading through explanations on how to create a simple boat from Medieval times, the processes and materials needed. Fascinating although it might have been, it was ultimately inefficient for my time, plus I wasn't that interested in manufacturing ships and boats unless they were of a modern kind.
Slowly I combed through each heading, finding that the organisation system was based on alphabetical order and that it was also listed in date ranges. From the year 0 all the way to 2210, there was a lot. Some of the stuff I hadn't even heard about as it was probably being secretly worked upon.
"Hmmm, perhaps I should start small and begin on learning skills instead?"
Good idea
"Blacksmithing? Seems useful and cool."
I snapped my fingers and called upon my dragon eyes, using the thinly veiled power of my imagination and the Magicules at my disposal to turn the tumultuous strips of atoms in the atmosphere into iron, an Anvil quickly emerging from seemingly nothing. Oddity seemed to be a theme of late as I also located the carbon content of the anvil and could ensure that the carbon was in crystalline patterns to further strengthen the inner flexibility of the iron. Towards the end of the process I noted that the Iron Anvil was perfectly shiny, the Iron looking as if it had been forged over the extent of thousands of hours.
I soon began on simple tools, hammers, punches, drifts, brushes, chisels, anvil horns, etc... There were hundreds of different tools used by different civilisations within my mind, the understanding of them shaky at best for my current self as the database seemed disconnected from my Instant recall. I liked it this way though as I got to toy with uniquely new things and discover their uses for myself, mostly.
Picking up some of the tools I began to feel their weight and swing them down, my movements being of a normal human pace. Only in stress had I found it difficult to slow down, such as on the couch this morning. Everything looked ready, the only element missing being that of a forge's fire. Now obviously I didn't have a space at home for this hobby just yet but that didn't concern me as I dragged all of it into the demi-plane, a smithy area slowly rising from the pitch white floor in front of the tower. With a smile I brought all of the tools over and summoned true fire for myself, using one of my greater spells that I hadn't used very often due to its unique nature.
A stone forge basin filled with roiling blue flames alit as it's heat pulsated outwards. The temperature was inconsequential for me but the tools had other things to say as the wood caught fire immediately...
Putting out the flames I quickly repaired them with a spell and inscribed some minor runes into them to make them capable of being used at this level of heat. From there the rest was easy. I summoned a piece of metal and began to hammer out a general shape. Now, from the knowledge in my head, that I was currently reading over whilst working, I had made the first rookie mistake. No protection... But also, no planning. I didn't have a design in mind, a concept so to speak. Without that, what is the worth of hitting hot metal with hammer?
Facepalming, I stopped hammering and put down the tool; the metal sitting on top of the anvil slowly cooling down. Taking paper I began to sketch out various designs for a dagger. It was small and simple, not being anything to complicated... That is what i thought when first trying to make it, but boy how wrong was I... The 'dagger' , if you could call it that, was an utter mess. Scraps of metal were discarded around the smithy area and tools were left all over, the end product being a stick-like piece of metal that had the vague outlines of a handle and the vague outlines of a blade. Vague was a nice way of putting it.
"Maybe I should read the Blacksmith stuff before actually doing it?"
... Th-that would be for the best...
...
Reading through the blacksmith knowledge within my mind I slowly gained a picture of what I had done wrong. But this was inconsequential as now I knew what I was doing wrong and I could fix it.
With that mindset in place I quickly began the process of forging the knife again. heating metal and dispersing it out into even parts for the blade. I began to quench the small dagger using some tongs that I had awkwardly handled, my gloves impeding my ability to grip them. Minutes passed as I repeated and heat treated the dagger. Adding a small bevel with a round tool and a hammer whilst the iron was hot added some small touches of character to my blade as I created some wood and formed it around my blade, my magic and dream dragon eyes substituting for my lack of carpentry skills.
By the end of the process a amateurish dagger with a rather blocky cross guard sat on the flat of the anvil, its blade sharpened by magic and its handle carved beautifully with filigree... Again, me abusing my magical talent.
"That was fun!"
I picked up my dagger and threw it at a small wooden plank that was used by me to create the handle before. With a shuddering thunk the dagger's blade sunk into the wood, several centimetres deep thanks to the sharpness of the the metal edges. It was simple but effective, a rather respectable second attempt.
Sitting back onto a nearby chair that had been summoned by me I began to look up ways of making swords and perfecting daggers. Much of the skills were advanced, including twirling metal and securing heat structure as you hammered down. Folding and Damascus was another level of complexity that I swiftly ran into as my brain nearly exploded at this point from the terminology and language being used... I even found myself going to an English dictionary to fully comprehend the terms. Don't get me wrong, I could understand how to say the words and their basic meanings but most of these words were other words commandeered for use in smithing.
By the end of my little study session I heard the distant rattling of our bedroom door. Opening my eyes from the books within my mind I hurriedly cleaned up, snapping my fingers to make all of the space clean. The dagger was placed within a separate space for storage as I swiftly exited my Tower dimension and stepped out into the kitchen, my blacksmiths apron being replaced by a cooking apron as I lifted the cake and slowly walked it over to the lounge-room table. Magically, I took some table cloths and draped it over before placing the flat presentation pan of the cake onto it.
'I hope they like it...'
I gazed nervously over at the stairs that lead upstairs into my bedroom, waiting for Milim or Shuna to step down. That was when a knock on the door occurred and the inharmonious voice of Yuna resounded.
"Sister! Can i come in!?"
'FUCK... Really, right fucking now!?'
