บท 227: We have another half an hour...(m)

Kellen wasn't expecting the Captain on the other side of the door, but it wasn't a bad surprise. He was actually happy to have him there, and when he shot the man a smile, the Captain seemed to melt. 

Leaning in, he pressed a kiss against Kellen's forehead, much to his embarrassment, but Kellen didn't get angry at him. That alone was a small victory for the man, and Kellen watched as his chest puffed out. Gwen watched them, a smile in her eyes. 

"With anyone else, I would be asking when the baby's coming." Gwen teased, and Kellen glanced around the hallway, glad that no one else was around. 

"Gwen!" He protested, slapping her arm lightly, his cheeks warm and she laughed. Even the Captain did as well. 

"What? Isn't that something I'm supposed to tease you on?" Her gray eyes sparkled as she looked over her brother and his partner. The Captain wasn't able to stop his smile but he pretended to sigh heavily.
