Hibiki spoke up, "From the intel we have, we've pinpointed their temporary nest here in the forest."
A picture appeared.
Everyone studied the terrain, fixing it in their minds, knowing where to find the enemy's nest.
"If we're lucky," Ichiya said, "they'll all be gathered there."
"Any plans?" Erza asked.
Ichiya pointed confidently to the sky, "We'll use Christina, our guild's proud magical weapon, to rain magic cannon fire on them when they're together. One shot, wipe them out!"
"That would be ideal," Ren agreed.
Lucy was nervous, "It all feels so official. This time, the enemy seems serious."
"This enemy is cunning!" Jura's face was grave, voice low and cautious. "Remember, stay together. Trust and cooperation are crucial. Don't act alone, especially against them!"
Lucy was anxious, "It's terrifying."
"Don't worry, Lucy. I'm here," Everit reassured.
"Yeah, with Everit here, you won't die," Lucy relaxed, trusting in Everit's support and life-saving skills, impressed by his past deeds.
"Alright, get ready. Once we step out, we might face them anytime," Ichiya instructed.
"I'm fired up!" Natsu's fist blazed.
"Let's move out!" Jura commanded.
*Boom!*
Natsu dashed ahead, leaving the others behind.
"Slow down, Natsu!" Lucy called out, hurrying to catch up.
The rest of the group followed suit, except for Everit, Tiffany, Ichiya, Jura, Happy, Wendy, and Carla, who stayed put.
Wendy looked frightened, and even Carla's attempts to comfort her were futile. Being a novice outside her village, nervousness before facing a near-max-level BOSS was only natural.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you!" Happy assured hastily.
But Carla paid him no mind.
"Wendy," Everit smiled, "don't worry. I'll always be by your side to keep you safe."
"Mr. Everit," Wendy gazed at him gratefully.
"Hey, you!" Carla abruptly stepped between Everit and Wendy, glaring vigilantly. "Don't get any strange ideas about Wendy!"
Everit was taken aback.
"Hahaha, lolita patrol," Tiffany chuckled, patting Everit's shoulder.
Everit distanced himself from her with disdain.
"Carla, that's not appropriate. Mr. Everit seems like a good person," Wendy interjected.
"You're too naive. You don't understand the dangers of the outside world," Carla retorted quietly.
"You..." Wendy murmured, frustrated.
Carla frowned, but turned back to Everit, warning, "Just act normal and don't get too close to Wendy. I'll be watching you."
"Haha, I'll keep an eye on him too, but don't worry," Tiffany grinned. "Even though he's not the best guy, he wouldn't dare harm other girls."
Everit fell silent.
"Alright, they're far ahead now. Let's catch up," Carla urged, pulling Wendy along.
Watching Carla, who was much shorter, pulling Wendy along—forcing the younger girl to bend over to keep pace—Everit worried that Wendy might stumble. Yet, as a healer, Wendy wouldn't be too troubled by minor injuries.
"Wait for me!" Happy shouted as he chased after him.
"Why did your guild join this battle?" Everit asked Tiffany, looking concerned.
Tiffany glanced at Ichiya and Jura before responding. "We've been blocked off," she explained.
"I'm here to fight Oración Seis for fun this time. But I've got a more crucial mission: tracking down a powerful faction," Tiffany replied.
"What faction?" Everit inquired.
"We're not sure yet, but I've heard they're collaborating with Oración Seis. So, be cautious. Our enemy this time isn't just Oración Seis," Tiffany warned.
"Why didn't you mention this earlier?" Everit questioned.
"Because we have enemies around," Tiffany replied calmly.
"Alright," Everit conceded, falling silent.
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion. Tiffany leaped back, propelled several meters away, before quickly regrouping with the main force.
"I'm heading out too," Everit declared, darting away.
Only Ichiya and Jura remained.
"Mr. Ichiya, shall we go as well?" Jura suggested.
"Wait, Mr. Jura," Ichiya paused, "I heard you're one of the Ten Wizard Saints, right?"
"That's correct," Jura confirmed, neither boastful nor modest.
"Can you match the strength of Guild Master Makarov or Guild Master Jose?" Ichiya asked curiously.
"No," Jura admitted honestly, shaking his head. "The title of the Ten Wizard Saints is bestowed by the Council, and strength is a significant criterion. I'm the least powerful among them."
"Even if I also held the title of Ten Wizard Saints, I'd still be far weaker than Guild Master Makarov or Guild Master Jose," Ichiya acknowledged.
"I see," Ichiya nodded thoughtfully, visibly relieved.
"Hmm?" Jura frowned, a sense of unease creeping over him. He instinctively prepared to cast magic, ensuring he could defend himself if necessary.
But an overpowering stench assaulted his senses.
He immediately felt his entire body go limp, losing his ability to fight and unable to summon his magic.
*Plop*
Jura collapsed to the ground, staring at Ichiya's back in shock.
"If you truly possessed such power as Master Makarov and Master Jose, I would be the one in peril. Nonetheless, I appreciate your honesty," Ichiya said, turning around with a smile while holding an opened bottle of perfume.
"You're not Ichiya! Who are you?!" Jura roared angrily.
"Thunderclap," Ichiya's voice turned sharp and childish, a smug grin on his face as he opened another bottle of perfume.
"Ah——" Jura screamed, as if lashed hard by countless whips.
"This perfume induces excruciating pain throughout the body," Ichiya boasted proudly.
*Bang*
Tortured, Jura collapsed heavily to the ground, seemingly stripped of his ability to fight.
*Bang!*
Ichiya's form exploded into white smoke.
Two identical blue puppets emerged from the smoke.
"Thunderclap, thunderclap," the two creatures jeered mockingly:
"Despite his strength, he's only average."
"You lack any brains, utterly useless, sir."
"Haha, that guy loses his strength when he's around women."
"Even this Jura is a fool, taken down so easily."
