บท 110: Omniscience in Marvel 108

Title -

"Such a nifty thing…how did you get the idea to create this?" An astonished jade emperor asked as he fiddled with the Mobile Phone in his hand. Unlike Odin, he wasn't all grumpy and jumpy about the object and was even excited to get the working mechanism from Leucadius.

"Would you believe me if I told you it was all because of the money?" Leucadius asked jokingly whule taking a sip from the tea Yu Hwang asked the maids to brew.

"Surely you jest my friend." Yu Hwang laughed solaciously before adding. "What could material wealth add to the life of one such as yourself?"

"Right..?" Leucadius asked and laughed.

Yu Hwang then turned to his attention to the phone and began browsing through it. "In my opinion, this device could earn a lot of Heavenly Dao Merits."

Upon hearing this, Leucadius smiled wryly at the familiar term. "Anyways, I heard one of your prized artifact was thrown to Earth."

"The Mortal Realm?" The Jade Emperor looked up Leucadius in confusion before a look of realisation flashed through his eyes. "Ah, the shattered pieces of the Universe Rings. Of course. It's safer down there than in the Thirty three Heavens."

"Hmm, I see." Was all Leucadius said before losing interest in the matter. The Wrym of Desolation was not really that much of a threat should it escape its seal. That was the conclusion he had reached.

Despite its ancient Origin being a demon and all, Leucadius was confident in his ability to eliminate it if the need arises. At the moment, he felt truly undefeatable within the confines of the Universe.

Other than the Celestials and the Elder God family, he didn't really feel there was a threat he couldn't overcome should he put his mind to it. Mephisto was a threat but not really one.

The characteristics of his cosmic energy was the direct antithesis to his. Demonic - Holy. In terms of restraints, he was the only one powerful enough to restrain him. In terms of skills though, it was left to be seen.

"By the way…" Yu Huang said and pulled Leucadius out of his thoughts. "I just had the most pleasant idea."

"Hmm?"

"This device…could it not be used to make dispensing of our several arts much more effective and swifter…?" The Jade Emperor asked as he shot Leucadius an intense gaze.

"Oh-ho?" Leucadius intoned as he matched the Emperor's.

"Think about it? With this, you could spread your joy and happiness to more people in real time." Leucadius said he matched a Blue Skinned and four armed God in an intense dancing competition.

"FOR SOME REASON, I DONT DISLIKE THAT THOUGHT!" The blue skinned and four armed God said as he swerved and twisted his body in complex yet simple movements while moving at the pace of the several instruments and their players in the background.

"Of course you don't. You can't have forgotten that long cherished dream of yours to have the entirety of Nirvana watch in bathed breath as you dance the most beautiful dance to ever grace Existence!" Leucadius said while moving in graceful patterns while also in tune with the background music.

To the audience, while their God moved in a beautiful pattern they themselves could never fathom Leucadius moved in a pattern they were all familiar with, however comparing the two, Leucadius' drew more attention.

It was as though it spoke to the subconscious of the audience. I want to see how far this simple pattern could go. It forced them to have the full attend to something that they felt was initially theirs.

"Is that truly possible?" The God asked as he came to a pause.

"There's nothing truly impossible in this Universe, and you should know that…Shiva." Leucadius said in response. "With enough popularity you could even let the entirety of the Universe watch it."

'Sigh…' Leucadius thought, '...how annoying. Can't this guys just take the damn thing and be done with this..?'

Upon leaving the Heavenly Court where he and Yu Hwang finished sharing their ideas on how they could use the internet features and teach the various up and coming Taoist and Daoist Gods several cultivation techniques and arts.

Yu Hwang sited that there was risk of leakage since there will be various other Pantheon and civilizations accessing the Web. Leucadius however assured him that various sites would only be accessed by people using a Certain Data Frequency.

He'd gone around other friendly Godkings and gifted each of them an advanced version of the Phone that'll be released to the masses.

Unfortunately for him, Shiva was adamant they either did battle or they had a dance competition before they discussed anything. Leucadius knowing not to challenge a Battle maniac chose the dancing competition in which he was currently performing in.

"HMM, SEEMS THERE'S A NEED FOR A LONG CONVERSATION," Shiva exclaimed In a new found delight as the musicals came to a halt.

"...That's what I've been trying to tell you all along."

"Huh? Hahaha Leuca my friend. You need to learn to be persuasive enough!"

"..."

Similar scenes took place in the various Divine palaces Leucadius was familiar with, positively or negatively. Like the time he visited the Persian Gods. Leucadius could swear that he would've died a thousand times over if glares could kill.

The Godking, Dagon and a few other Gods in the Royal Palace were all Gods the prophets and servants of Leucadius amongst the Israelites have had dealings with. Not to mention the Mesopotamian Gods.

The Enneads were more accommodating that he would've expected, but considering the fact that it was Ra who received him, he wasn't bothered to waste his brain cells to come up with assumptions.

He'd given up trying to understand why Horus and Ra loved switching places as ruler of the Ennead.

"My Lord, you are aware that this Universe Wide Internet Web(UWIU) won't be able to reach the other Galaxies outside this one, right?"

"Surely I am aware. You even over estimate the value of this device." Leucadius shook his head with a small smile as heard Aspect's evaluation of the Mobile Phone.

In truth, as Odin had said, the use of Phones amongst the more powerful Gods would be limited considering they could do a lot of the things a phone could do with just Thier Energy.

This however, would be popular amongst the lower Gods and civilian-like residents of the various Divine Kingdoms.

His main purpose for doing that was merely to see how certain storylines would play out if 'certain mistakes' were made and a human happens to get his/her hand on them.

Not to mention the possibilities that the various Gods of Various ranks would soon see the value of the Chat Group features and begin to socialise. "This could lead to either a more lazy community of Gods or a more efficient community."

"...Is that a good or a bad thing?" Aspect asked but Leucadius merely shrugged.

"I've wasted a lot of time here, the Meeting would soon commence." Leucadius said and stood up as his attire changed to on exuding holiness and Majesty.

Time was a fickle thing…Nah. Earth time was a fickle thing, and considering it was the measure used to set the duration between each meeting time, the passage of time outside it's little Solar sphere has nothing to do with it.

Having been running around between the 794AD and early 800AD on earth before leaving to battle the Builders outside the universe walls, then settling down in the Super Flow to create both the Internet and the Mobile phones, the Year 1000AD was just a few minutes away.

"Yeshua?" Leucadius suddenly asked as he stopped himself from opening the portal he was about to open. "Has he gone already?"

"He's been in the Omnipotence City for quite sometime." Aspect replied with a bit of annoyance in his tone.

"I thought I asked you two to see to the management of Heaven." Leucadius muttered with a tired sigh.

"Forgive me for saying this, but Yeshua, despite his Nature should stay away from anything Management." Aspect said, and from his tone, Leucadius could sense his resignation.

"I…see." Leucadius said hesitantly, not knowing exactly what he was seeing. "I'll be going now…Keep up the Good work. This Era is for the both of you afterall."

Saying that, a Golden portal opened into which he swiftly crossed and was immediately in the Main Meeting hall, however, for some reason, his presence didn't attract any attention whatsoever.

The Reason..?

Simply because the various Godkings and their confidants were all immersed in the new sensation that was the internet.

In the bustling heart of Omnipotence City, where the young heirs and gods came to mingle, a serene garden offered a tranquil retreat. Among the lush greenery, two figures sat in quiet conversation: Gautama, with his serene smile and radiant presence, and Yeshua, exuding a calm yet powerful aura.

"Tell me, Yeshua," Buddha began suddenly, "what is the greatest challenge you've faced with your followers?"

Yeshua chuckled softly, "I'd say it's convincing them to love their neighbors as themselves. You'd think that would be simple, but humans have a knack for complicating things."

Buddha nodded knowingly. "Ah, the human condition. Attachment and desire cloud their judgment. I find that teaching them to let go is just as challenging."

"Indeed," Yeshua agreed. "Forgiveness isn't a trivial thing. But there's beauty in their struggle, don't you think? The effort to overcome their flaws can lead to great acts of compassion and kindness."

"Absolutely," Buddha replied. "Their potential for enlightenment is what makes the journey worthwhile. Sometimes, all it takes is a little nudge in the right direction."

After that, the two just sat in a comfortable silence while observing nature go about its cycle. Any rowdy God…nah, any God in fact would find the company of these two to be quite uncomfortable due to their respective natures.

Gautama's aura was a serene and calming aura, exuding a sense of deep peace and enlightenment. It had a soothing, compassionate quality that reflects his mindfulness and inner tranquility.

Yeshua's aura was warm and loving. It radiates a comforting presence, offering a sense of grace and spirituality to those around him.

"Hmm. Seems like you have a visitor." Gautama suddenly said with a weary tone. "I wonder how you cope with him."

Yeshua, smiling wryly, could only shake his head and say nothing. What was he supposed to say? That his Elder sister Figure, who didn't care for his or his father's status was too much of a bully who forced them all to socialize?

"And he brings the trickster with him." Gautama added with a bit of distaste.

"Blaming someone due to their nature would only over complicate our feelings towards them in the long run." Yeshua said lightly and stood up. "Also, he doesn't dare mess around in my presence."

Leaving behind those words he walked away from the Garden and into the modest looking castle in which the garden lay behind.

Meanwhile,

Thor, Loki, and the Warriors Three stood together with the atmosphere, a mix of impatience and anticipation. Thor paced back and forth, his restlessness palpable. His golden armor glinted in the soft light, and Mjolnir, his trusted hammer, was slung casually at his side.

"Why is it that Yeshua always makes us wait? I told him noon, and it's already past midday," Thor grumbled, his frustration evident in his tone.

"Perhaps he enjoys making a grand entrance, brother. Much like you." Loki, leaning against a marble pillar with a mischievous smirk on his face, replied,

Volstagg let out a hearty laugh. "Or maybe he's just trying to outdo Thor's sense of drama!"

"Impossible. No one can match Thor's flair for theatrics." Hogun, ever the stoic, allowed a rare grin to cross his usually stern features.

"Do you think he'll perform a miracle to announce his arrival? Turn water into mead, perhaps?" Fandral lounged against another column, a playful twinkle flashed in his eye as he said.

Thor chuckled at the thought, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "One can only hope. Mead would be most welcome right now."

As the conversation drifted to lighter topics, Loki's restless behavior didn't go unnoticed. He fidgeted with the hem of his emerald-green robes, his eyes darting around the room as if plotting something.

Sif, the fierce and formidable warrior maiden, raised an eyebrow and fixed Loki with a suspicious gaze. "Loki, you seem more shifty than usual. Planning something?"

Feigning innocence, Loki placed a hand over his heart and adopted a mock-hurt expression. "Why, Sif, you wound me. Can't a god simply be restless?"

Sif, unimpressed, narrowed her eyes at him. "Not when it's you. I hope you're not considering mischief in front of Yeshua. Even you wouldn't dare."

Loki glared at Sif only to receive a look of disdain from her. Loki has always been the trickster prince that not even her could bring herself to show him any form of respect.

Sif then snorted and said. "Do you need me to recount what happened when you first met Yeshua?"

"You wouldn't dare!" Loki glared and the group all burst out laughing. There wasn't a need to recount what happened as they were all there when Loki thought he could mess around with Yeshua.

Word amongst the Gods then was that the God of Heaven had a son with a Human. Due to his Nature, he was shackled and forced to live as a mortal until his death.

It was said that on the Night he died, the World stood still for three seconds. It was unknown what caused the phenomena but a lot of Gods could guess.

That didn't mean that their guesses were true.

Some said that his divine energy was too vast that the world felt its pressure.

Some said it was the anger of he who sat on the throne of the highest heaven. The Most High.

Some said it was the world itself lamenting his passing.

Comparing himself who always had his Divine Energy as early as he could guess, he felt he was powerful enough, however he had to spend a couple painful weeks going through life and death over and over and over again.

To make matters worse, when he regained his senses, it happened that only 5 seconds had passed.

Loki was Frejya's beloved child and student. He knew a lot about magic and it's uniqueness, so when he regained his senses, he was smart enough to know that the man in front of him wasn't to be messed with.

While this was going on, Thor resumed his pacing, his mind still on their impending meeting. "Yeshua's counsel is invaluable, but his sense of time is... unique."

Fandral twirled his mustache thoughtfully. "Indeed. Perhaps he is testing our patience, knowing full well how gods of Asgard struggle with such virtues."

Volstagg nodded sagely, his usual jovial demeanor momentarily replaced by a look of contemplation. "Patience is a virtue, or so they say. But I prefer a good feast to pass the time."

Loki's smirk returned, a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Patience is overrated. A little chaos can be far more entertaining."

Sif rolled her eyes at Loki's remark. "Save your chaos for another day, Loki. Today, we must show respect."

The doors to the grand hall slowly opened, and a serene presence filled the room. Yeshua, draped in simple yet elegant robes, entered with a calm and gentle smile.

Thor stepped forward, his previous impatience melting away. "Yeshua, thank you for coming."

Yeshua nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "Anything for you guys, It is always a pleasure to meet with friends. Now, let us discuss what weighs heavy on your hearts."

As they settled into a more serious discussion, Leucadius was also reading out a new set of rules and etiquette to be maintained in the meeting rooms going forward.

According to him, such blatant disregard for decorum would not be tolerated amongst the Gods, so despite their grumblings they could only reluctantly relent.

Having listened to Thor's conundrum, Yeshua smiled warmly. "We all feel lost at times. It's part of the path to understanding. Remember, even a small candle can light the way in the darkness."

"But… I feel as though I can't break through a bottle neck in perfecting my manipulation of my hammer and abilities…as though it deems me unworthy." Thor lamented.

For a split second there, Yeshua was about to agree with Thor on that but he quickly shook of that thought and added "Worthiness isn't about perfection. It's about striving to be better, even when it's difficult. Your doubts show that you care deeply, and that's a strength."

The godling looked relieved, bowing respectfully. "Thank you."

"No need for that. Send my regards to Aldrif whenever you see her during your tour." Yeshua said with a smile.

"Heh. That woman always does what she like and not even father can do anything about it…unlike me." Thor began with a tone of ridicule but ended with a crestfallen one.

'You are the heir to Asgard unlike her you dimwit.' Yeshua thought to himself in jest. "You'll get your chance. You only need to prove yourself."

"Right!?" Thor exclaimed. "That settles it! Yeshua, thank you for your advice. I've been putting this off for a while now, but it seems like to prove myself, I have to bring a couple rebellious people back to their heels."

"Hmm?" Yeshua hummed in confusion at Thor's statement. 'That wasn't the proof I was referring to.'

"You do you." Yeshua said and made to bid them farewell only for a sinking feeling to envelope him causing his expression to morph to a frown.

"Yeshua?" Thor called out, however, Yeshua merely looked into the sky with a serious expression. "It seems this day finally arrived." He said to himself before turning to the group. "Sorry to cut this short, but I need to meet my father."

Saying that, Yeshua immediately disappeared. This was Omnipotent City, and without certain clearance, you could open your own Portal. As the Son of one of the most notable Gods, how could he go about breaking the rules?

There was no restrictions on Teleportation though.

In the meeting hall. All the major Gods and Godkings all wore serious expression as they all looked towards a certain direction in the Void.

"This day finally arrived." Odin said as he slammed his Gungnir to the ground.

"Yeah…The Third Host…"
