"That's her, Raven. How could she do something so awful to Amelia?"
Upon hearing that sentence, both Raven and I were surprised. I wondered what new story Amelia had concocted. Raven and I tried to avoid the stares of the others. After a few minutes, the bell rang, signaling it was time for our magic class.
Quickly, Raven and I made our way to the classroom. When we arrived, the teacher hadn't yet shown up. As we entered, we could still hear the students whispering, pointing at us. Despite their stares, Raven and I ignored them and headed to the back of the class to take our seats.
However, just a few seconds later, Amelia walked into the classroom.
Amelia walked confidently to her seat, her eyes fixed on us. I tried to ignore her, but it was hard to shake off the feeling of discomfort. Raven, on the other hand, seemed unfazed. She gave Amelia a quick glance before turning her attention back to her books.
