บท 13: 13 The Walrider
"The target is not you."
The armored gorilla's eyes flashed, followed by a brutal charge toward Genos.
However, Genos effortlessly blocked it.
Roy glanced at Saitama. "Saitama-san, have you recently offended anyone?"
"No?" Saitama also found it puzzling.
"The fact that those strange individuals traveled together indicates they likely have unified orders from some organization. I also heard the name House of Evolution just now."
Roy closed one eye to try to access one of the abilities he had which was the earliest application he had ever done using Dark Matter.
This ability was the result of his inspiration from a science fiction book he had read in the past.
In the book's storyline, there's a civilization that gave birth to creatures called Endmakers, whose goal is to seize all the wealth of a planet, including the oceans and atmosphere, making the entire planet their property.
One of the technological foundations for creating such creatures is the ability to implant a supercomputer in the brain.
This supercomputer has a much larger capacity than the human brain itself. The knowledge it stores can be transformed into clear memories for the implant recipient. But that's just one of its secondary functions, it's also an intellect amplifier, elevating human thinking to a new level.
Thus, knowledge, aesthetics, thoughts, intellect, and ways of thinking all became commodities, giving rise to what's called super education.
The combination of Dark Matter within Roy's body and brain cells not only enhanced the precision of his brain but also effectively transformed some areas of his brain into the type of supercomputer through the subtle influence he exercised using his Dark Matter ability.
Super education is theoretically feasible, but currently, it's only Roy who can do it.
Furthermore, it's quite energy-consuming.
Originally, Roy could sustain life activities just through photosynthesis. However, ever since he created what he called the biological brain, the energy consumption has multiplied several times or even more. This means even if Roy indulges in excessive eating and drinking, he won't gain weight because the intake energy and consumed energy offset each other, sometimes even leaving a deficit that needs to be replenished with photosynthesis.
Additionally, although there's no corresponding external technology for super education, using the pineal gland as a medium for receiving and releasing information, connecting to the network to obtain information, is still feasible.
And Roy can naturally access all the knowledge, technology, and experiences available on the network.
Although Roy's actions may seem somewhat childish, he's actually searching for information.

"Hmph... That kid looks like nothing more than a pretty face with no substance. No need to bother with him." The mole-like monster replied. "Anyway, the target is restrained. Just don't let him cause any trouble."
"Hahaha, right!" The lion-like monster laughed. "In that case, this useless kid is done for. Die!"
The lion-like monster tore towards Roy with sharp claws.
"Don't get carried away, Beast King. The doctor wants that intact bald kid."
"Don't worry, I got this-"
The lion-like monster suddenly froze in place.
It was tall, possibly close to three meters. Even standing next to Roy, who was 1.8 meters tall, it towered over him. However, when the lion-like monster looked down, just a glimpse of Roy's side profile nearly scared it out of its wits.
Taking a few steps back, panting heavily, it thought to itself, "I-I just felt like I was about to be killed? N-No, impossible! I'm the No. 2 of the House of Evolution... Beast King!"
Shaking its head, convincing itself it was a mistake, the lion-like monster's embarrassment turned to anger.
"Die! Lion Slash!!!"
Although shouted with such arrogance, it was just a frenzy of random attacks.
Roy reached out slightly, and the white substance, barely visible, turned black a few centimeters from his skin.
Then, the lion-like monster exploded abruptly, as if hit by an invisible barrage of punches, organs scattering all over, meeting its end on the spot.
"Huh... huh?!" The mole-like monster was dumbfounded.
At this moment, Saitama also rose from his seated position as if standing up from the ground, tearing the earth apart with a rattling sound, rising unimpeded, his dead fish eyes staring at the mole-like monster.
Escape!
The mole-like monster, now quickly intimidated, made a snap decision, activating the Earth Release technique to prepare for escape.
"Need a hand?" Roy asked.
"Oh, no need." Saitama said, then blasted open the ground directly, also using the Earth Release technique.
Roy didn't mind.
'With my Walrider abilities, I could easily shake the earth, disposing of that monster in one fell swoop.'
What Roy referred to as The Walrider was actually the collective term for the nanomachines in his body.
The initial inspiration came from a game, namely, Outlast.
Later, Roy developed a nanorobot system with multiple integrated functions.
It could form nanosuits or even everyday clothing. It could act like invisible hands, blades, or even invisible warriors in action. Additionally, it could transform into a protective shield of nanoswarms or weapons like the limited deployment Continental Shelf Oscillator or Planetarium Control Device.
Of course, the floating thermal cutting and emission device used to kill the keyboard warrior monsters just now, as well as the floating energy storage laser cannon, were also assembled rapidly by nanomachines.
Just now, Roy summoned a Stand using Walrider, employing the Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken to swiftly defeat the lion-like monster.
Although it wasn't as impressive as Saitama, it could easily demolish one or two skyscrapers with minimal effort.
In no time, Saitama emerged from the earth on the other side.
It seems the mole-like monster was also dealt with.
On the other side of the street, Genos also achieved results. Amidst the smoke, a somewhat disheveled Genos faced the armored gorilla with his palms outstretched.
"Let's go check it out." Roy said to Saitama.
"Okay."

"The one eliminated is you, fool." The armored gorilla maintained its cold, modified human facade. "My strength, within the House of Evolution, ranks only third. With your abilities, you can't defeat the second-ranked, Beast King. Just wait to be destroyed."
"!"
Using nanomachines, Roy constructed a drone, dangling the eyeballs of the lion-like monster. He walked over to Genos. "Is this the Beast King one you mentioned?"
The armored gorilla, expressionless, looked at the three villains surrounding it. After a brief silence, it spoke fluently, "Um, I was wrong. I surrender, please spare my life."
"Where has your previous arrogance gone?"
"Sorry, I was trying to be cool."
